These self-catering apartments are based in a collection of old industrial buildings and have been nicely renovated to modern standards. Plenty of parking spaces – a number of which have car charging facilities. The room we had was comfortable and equipped well enough for a few days stay. It’s a 15 minute walk into the city centre and there are no local shops. Worth the effort though to see the magnificent castle!
Gaining access was a bit difficult – you have to phone up to find out how to locate and get into the apartment, as there was no check-in desk or staff on site. The hotel is located next to the city ringroad, which is constantly busy and stays noisy well into late evening.
