The location near to most attraction places
The cleanliness especially the pantry near sink and room flooring. Should keep the shoe at a shoe rack to maintain the cleanliness.

Ive been staying here for over 7 years, i mix my time in Korea between staying with friends and staying here (allows me to stay longer) i've never had a bad thing to say about this place, they never drop the ball. only thing i ever felt funny about was when they suddenly had a male staff member, as a female hostel i think naturally this should always be staffed by females, it just feels more comfortable. its always kept clean, the staff are friendly and i can always come back and not have to worry about a thing

Philstay Ehwa Boutique is very well located. It is on the third floor without an elevator, which is not a big problem, but it’s good to keep in mind if you are carrying heavy luggage, patience and a calm pace help.
All the facilities (rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, and common area) are on the same floor, which makes everything easily accessible, although it also means there can be more movement and noise at certain times. Sometimes the noise from hair dryers used near the rooms can be a bit annoying, although there are restricted hours for their use. Using earplugs and being flexible helps.
The kitchen space is quite small and has only one burner, so depending on the time and day, it can be more challenging to use. However, despite these limitations, if you adapt and are patient, this place is truly wonderful.
What really makes this guesthouse special is the hospitality and kindness of the staff. The free food stock available for guests (eggs, bread, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, and tea) is amazing and very helpful. I would especially like to highlight the morning staff member (Lee) she was incredibly sweet and caring. On several occasions, she spoiled me with fruits and other Korean snacks. Her warmth reminded me of my mother, and I truly left with my heart full of gratitude for those beautiful gestures.
Overall, a lovely place with an amazing human touch that makes you feel at home.

Clean, possibility to do laundry, no mold in room, great lock for room with password but no quiet, good a/c, nice breakfast offered for free, quality shampoo offered for free
No elevator and many steps, Very very very dense common space, all offered facilities are in same floor, too little space in each room, ladder to bed is not easy to grip, smell from kitchen reach the room. I also did not like the need to book few nights only.
