nearby to halal food and myeondong night market. room is okay. host i think the owner a guy name Min was very nice and attentive.

staircases. pity those stay at higher floors with huge luggage. but Min did help to send it to my room at Level 2.

Wonderful Hostel in Myeongdong

Very nice location, great private room for the price. Easy to check in. Less than 10 minutes' walk from Myeongdong Station.

Everything was great except for the slippers I was lent, which were too big 😅 Also, the driveway was very steep and it snowed, so it was very slippery.

Доброжелательный общительный хозяин. Отличное местоположение. Чистый холл, лестницы, большая укомплектованная кухня. Есть туалетные принадлежности в свободном доступе. Микроволновка в номере. Зонтики для постояльцев.. Есть антисептики.

В день когда заселилась было достаточно ветрено и шел дождь, я дико замерзла, но в номере отогреться не получилось..Отрегулировать температуру в комнате невозможно - на панели кондиционера запрещающая наклейка. В ванной тонкой струйкой текла теплая вода, горячей добиться так и не удалось. Забиты обе раковины, что в душе, что на кухоньке. Причем пооследняя напрочь. Холодильник не работал, но, учитывая, что мне нечего было там хранить, особых неудобств это не вызвало. Постельное белье очень уставшее, меняют ли его вообще после постояльцев? Надеюсь, да.

Понравилось всё: чистота, вежливый хозяин, приятный запах, удобства в номере и общей зоне, есть дополнительный туалет в общей зоне, месторасположение, вид на Намсан с крыши.

Жёсткий матрас на индивидуальной кровати, мало полочек в ванной.

Clean room

Cleanliness, room amenities like washing machine and lounge

Although the location is great, it is a bit hilly, which can be difficult to reach the hotel with luggage, particularly since the hotel lacks a lift. To go to the hotel, take the subway's Exit 1, which has a lift, to reach the surface. From there walk towards Exit 3, turn left and walk up the hill. Do not follow the App's directions after Exit 1. Otherwise, you will struggle with your luggage. Once at the hotel, ask them to download the Korean transportation and navigation apps, and you will be all set. Afterwards, you can just use Exit 2 or 3.

matress is too soft and gets too warm, no elevator, AC is old is not very clean. bunk bed for taller people is not going to be comfortbale

Exceptional

The location was just perfect, only 4 minutes of walking from myeongdong station, staff was very nice and helpful, the commodities were clean and confortable, the bedroom was just perfect, everything was on point ! It was very quiet and peaceful, and the AC was also working perfectly which was very convenient during those heat days. Thank you so much I’ll come back for sure !

Pleasant stay in a very convenient location of Seoul, would recommend.

Nice room/apartment in a hotel with excellent location in Seoul, close to Namsan hill and very convenient access to metro. Number of options for food in the immediate vicinity. Nice shared living room space in the hotel basement.

Room a bit small, but sufficient for a family of 4 (2 nights spent). Difficult to get rid of humidity in the bathroom (also due to weather conditions during our stay), but nothing of a problem.

Wonderful stay

Superb location, 2 minutes walk to Myeongdong station. Plenty halal restaurants nearby. Love the rooftop with Namsan Tower view. Our room was comfortable with a microwave, fridge and washing machine.

Easy place to stay in Seoul

Great location and really well connected. The room was small but had everything we needed including a washing machine which was really helpful.

There isn’t a lift so if you have big bags then be prepared to carry them up. Only other note is that although the room is advertised as having g a kitchen, there isn’t a sink or anything apart from a microwave to use in there

Amazing location only a few minutes walk from the metro. Min was super nice and not set everything up so I can check in after midnight, but also let me check out late as the room was not being used the next day. Highly recommend!

Wide room and central location. Suggested!

The room was wide, clean and well organized. There was everything necessary. The hostel position was extremely central and convenient, and silent! Also the Rooftop and Lounge were nice. The staff had been really helpful while booking the excursions and kindly explained how to use Seoul's transportation, map and card.

Some room details need some maintenance, like balcony, chair and kitchenette counter surface. Wallpapers were sometimes a little spattered, and a bit flayed from the corners, however not problematic at all! The bed was perfectly firm, but the inner springs were quite hard on the surface. With an additional soft layer, the bed would become great!

The location is nearby Metro station and convenience. I like the the hostel warm flooring and the cleanliness. we are enjoying our time in the room after one day busy schedule and the extremely cooling weather outside. The water heater is very important in this winter time. The hostel shower with very hot water 👍🏼 The owner is friendly & helpful although not easy to meet him. Before coming will send the email to confirm my arrival time. He will given us the proper self checkin manual / guidance. It’s worth to stay here. Thank you so much.

No bath towel only provided a bigger face towel but you can take few if not enough. Less hooks to hang the clothings. However, not a big issue.

Our stay was fantastic! Beautiful and affordable place and a very kind owner!

I like the fact that the place is really near the shopping/central area, it's conveniently located near the N. Seoul Tower. I like the place, so quiet and simple, there's also an eating area where you can just bring in your food, everything is there already. Love the fact that there's also a house slipper provided, so it really feels homey. The rooftop also was cool! Sadly, we didn't get to see the place at night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Owner is really nice and accommodating, God bless you, Min!

Just a recommendation, hopefully, the toilet has a bidet next time, but everything is okay with us. :-)

Would book again!

Very good location. Near most landmarks. Can easily walk to stations. Around the heart of Myeongdong. Many convenience stores around. The staff was super helpful!

Nothing to be said. They don’t have an elevator but that’s no biggie if you don’t have luggages.

The toilet was blocked a few times. Theres no room cleaning service. We asked about it, and were asked to pay if we want one. 😕

Small but cozy. The reception allows us to checkin early without charge. I'm very appriciated. The hostel closes to subway station, night market and many places.

Will definitely stay here again if I decide to stay at Myeongdong next time!

Everything. Facilities, location, comfort. 7-eleven is right in-front; so near I can come out in shorts to buy stuff at -12 degrees during winter. Host is very helpful and understanding. I specially like that this hostel is pleasantly quiet; not the rowdy party kind.
