We liked very much the place. It is an out of the way location and the castle in itself is quite unique so it makes the experience very different from the usual stays at hotels and other accommodations. We liked the breakfast but mostly the great dinner every night after spending the day visiting the region. The village in itself is rather quiet, nothing on the way of evening activities. For that you have to go to larger villages. The host is very knowledgeable and really helpful. For this kind of visit I think a local guide and a car is necessary. The host will help you find the right ones.

This place is so untouched that you feel like you're stepping back in time. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere inside this incredible piece of architecture. A real treat to stay there in shabby chic luxury
The bathroom was basic with hot water supplied in a bucket, but to be honest that just added to it's charn!
