Mr. Paul, works very hard and is very obliging and friendly.
Overpriced for what it offers. The facilities are very worn and could be cleaner. It would appear that Mr Paul is trying ( or is expected), to run the place single handed so inevitably the details get neglected a bit. It is impossible for one person to keep on top of room cleaning, providing meals, clearing up after them and greeting guests. Rather than making tea or coffee for guests it would be much better if these were available to help oneself.

De prijs/ kwaliteit was prima. De beheerder heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goed bed. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Lovely grand guesthouse in a quiet area of Kandy - Mr Paul was extremely friendly and nice to speak with and a great cook, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast here very much. The room was clean and well equipped!
Only enough hot water for 1x person so the other shower was super cold unfortunately.

Set in the hills, it was a lovely location to stay in Kandy for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
Paul is an incredible host, made sure we were well looked after and cooked the most delicious breakfasts both Sri Lankan and European. His rice and curry was as good if not better than we’ve eaten out.
Don’t come expecting luxury but it’s comfortable enough.
No drivers seemed to be able to find it! Up a super steep hill and the WiFi was only available in the common areas not our bedroom .
