Perfect town house, close to the main station but in a side road with no traffic at all (very quiet). We have been a party of four and have had enough space but you have to be aware that this is a typical japaneese townhouse which means space in Japan is limited. The house was good equipped but not really perfect to cook meals by yourselfe. This is anyhow not necessary because there are numerous restaurants in the sourroundings. The house is managed by an agency and you get access with door code which you receive before you arrive. We came and left without any direct contact with the manager (but he is available by mail and phone if you need help). It is a very good alternativ to the extremly fully booked hotels (Kyoto unfortunately became a hot spot for tourists)

I really liked staying in property with Japanese character and a ton of space.. the location was just a short walk to lots of restaurants and Kyoto station.

How to enter with the pass code.. ties a bit more difficult than a card, key or a normal pin pad
