Situated in Mousehole, this charming cottage for $197 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Mousehole Cottage is a beautiful property, with fantastic, panoramic sea views and private parking. Completed in 2008 the property is located just off the main Parade and only 60 metres from the harbour. Well appointed and beautifully furnished this cottage offers a high standard of accommodation for 6 people in this sought after location. The cottage is surrounded by a compact, private and well-maintained garden with large garden table and chairs with sea views. Mousehole, described by Dylan Thomas as “the loveliest village in England” is a traditional, picture postcard Cornish harbour with small sandy beach ideal for little ones at the far end. Mousehole is made up of winding streets, alleyways, old net lofts, art galleries, gift shops and several very good pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are many sandy beaches nearby, Porthcurno and Sennen to name but a few. The larger historic town of Penzance is 3 miles away with a wider range of shops, supermarkets, leisure centre, outdoor lido, pubs and critically acclaimed restaurants. The Scillonian ferry runs from Penzance to the stunning Scilly Isles. Accommodation Ground Floor: Entrance door into a hall with large cupboard and hooks for coats. Through to a well furnished sitting room and dining area with beautiful sea views from the double aspect windows, two large comfortable sofas, wood burner, digital flatscreen TV with freeview channels and DVD player. At the back of the living room is the dining area with table and chairs for 6 people. At the rear of the cottage is the well appointed kitchen with built-in double oven with halogen hob and extractor hood, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, plenty of shaker style cupboards and granite worktops. There is a small WC and basin off the kitchen. First Floor - The master bedroom with double white wrought iron bed has some of the best views in the cottage, dual aspect across the bay to St Michael's Mount and St Clements Isle, with built in cupboard, chest of drawers and bedside units. The twin bedroom, also dual aspect has two single beds and built in cupboard with shelves and hanging space. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 3ft white bunk beds and small chest of drawers. Family bathroom with bath, mira shower over, basin, WC and towel rail and further sea views! Outside is a gravelled garden area surrounding the house with garden table, 6 chairs, bench, BBQ and washing line. Facilities and services Inclusive electricity, Central heating (winter only), telephone (incoming calls only), wifi broadband. The house is fully cleaned before your arrival and all bed linen, towels (including beach towels) and the final laundry are included in the price. Initial basket of logs provided in the winter. We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole cottage and enjoyed exploring this part of Cornwall. The cottage has everything you need, its cozy and welcoming. Great to have parking which is limited in the village. Thank you Phay for the wine, milk & choccy biscuits. We shall be back in 2024 for another escape from real live. Mark & Mandy

Excellent location with great views. Cottage had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Mousehole is a quaint fishing village, not overcrowded and the harbour is picturesque with a pub (the ship) that serves good food and an excellent pint.

The location of this cottage is superb. Even though the weather was not the kindest, the cottage has great views of the sea and it was very atmospheric watching the wild sea from the upstairs window. Being just before the main village (but still only a 2 minute walk to the harbour) meant that there was no issue with having to get the car through the narrow streets. The parking space very close to the cottage is tight but enough for a Mercedes Estate. All the communication with Phay and the booking etc was very easy and clear. Thanks for a great week!

The cottage is in an ideal location, everything you could possibly need, lovely and clean, really enjoyed our holiday here and would definitely like to stay again. Enjoyed the bottle of wine and biscuits which were left for us too!

This was a very nice cottage, very welcoming. The flowers upon arrival were a lovely touch. The view of the sea was somewhat occluded but I doubt we could have gotten a better view at this price. It was a great weak and Phay was very helpful the one time we needed anything. Thx!

Great location and lovely house. Travelling with elderly parents it would have been beneficial to have known that access to the premises is via some steep steps and a narrow uneven unpaved alley. Additionally the placement of the key press is not ideal for all ages / physical conditions.

The location was our reason for choosing the cottage but the property was such a find! It was so comfortable, clean and everything you could wish for was provided. The added bonus was dedicated parking so nearby. We had a fabulous break and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone requiring a relaxing break in a lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage, perfectly located in the beautiful fishing village of Mousehole. With private off-street parking and being so close to the harbour, this was a rare find that didn’t disappoint! With sea views and plenty of space for us all (4 adults and a lab), it was the perfect Cornish treat!

Great cottage with a the perfect location in Mousehole and best of all it has easy parking. Inside the house is nicely fitted out and had plenty of room for the family with a couple of large sofas. Excellent location to day trips to the Cornish sights as well as a number of great costal walks if you don't fancy driving.

We had thought about staying in Mousehole a number of times & we are really glad we did. The cottage was lovely & just perfect for our family of 4. The sofas are both big & comfortable which is always important to us & the only addition I can think of would be extra cushions although this may have been to do with the extra measures in place due to the pandemic. Although the weather was changeable we did manage to make use of the patio & it’s a lovely sunny addition to the property with the sea view. Although the overall feel of the holiday was strange due to the pandemic we will definitely be back for another visit. The biscuits & wine on arrival were a lovely addition.
