About this house rental
Poros is a popular holiday resort. The mild climate assures a comfortable stay. The beautiful beaches are among the best on the island and are ideal for families and seniors. The Poros Beach House is a traditional house with two bedrooms (one air conditioned), a fully equipped kitchen and toilet with bath tube. It can comfortably accommodate four guests. A shady garden in the back is an ideal setting for lunch, while the front garden has views to the sea. The house is only 5 meters from the beach.
The owner will treat you with genuine Greek hospitality and will introduce you to all "local secrets" (beaches, mountain hiking, old villages, monasteries, several picturesque itineraries) for a pleasant holiday on the island of Cephalonia.
Upon request, traditional greek breakfast of organic/hand-made products (milk or yogurt, honey, butter, marmalade, cookies, bread, olives, tomatoes, feta cheese, fruits) will be provided by the owner, as well as greek lessons, as she is a certified teacher of greek language.

This is a really nice house in a great location. Joanna is great, really helpful , even bringing us local food. Ideal for a young family who want a stay in a quiet town with traditional tavernas and great food. Also boats to hire if you want a trip round the Island

The property is charming it has everything you need with plenty of space and a lovely shaded seating and eating area which was great to relax in out of the heat. The sea is literally on your doorstep, I achieved my ambition of finding a property that really was close to the sea, the road is not busy so you can just wander across and head into the beautiful clear water.
There are a good choice of tavernas within easy reach and the town square offers cocktail bars and shops again all within an easy level walk.
Joanna is a wonderful host, she is a fascinating person with lots of local knowledge and made us feel very welcome.
We would definitely visit again.

Already the beginning of our vacation in Kefalonia was very special. Since we traveled without a car, Joanna, the owner, welcomed us already at the port of Poros. As a family of four with correspondingly much luggage, she brought us with her car quite naturally with two trips to the vacation home. The entrance area and the small courtyard with the many plants and flowers, the fruit and drinks that Joanna had already provided for us in the refrigerator, as well as the small, simple, beautifully furnished, very clean traditional house made us feel very comfortable from the first moment. Since we spent our vacations during an extreme heat period in Greece, the sea, which is very close to the house, proved to be doubly nice, since we could cool down at any time.
Halfway through our two-week vacation, we received fresh linens as well as towels and the house was cleaned. We really appreciated this service that Joanna offered us free of charge.
Joanna is a very friendly, open and communicative hostess who takes great care of her guests. We had many interesting, personal conversations with her, which will remain in our very good and warm memories.
If you want to make individual vacations in Greece and are looking for personal contact with the people and the culture, you will feel very comfortable here. We can highly recommend this special house and thank Joanna for the wonderful time we spent here.

The location is perfect and Joanna was so very helpful and is a lovely person. If we had a problem then she solved it and was always ready to help. She could not have been more friendly. The king-sized bed is extremely comfortable and the property is really well ventilated a almost all the windows have mosquito nets although we came across very few of the little beasties in late September.
