About this condo rental
Nestled in Dundrum, this charming condo for $171 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This is a stunning 1st floor apartment in a peaceful village which has the 'wow' factor. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the beautiful Dundrum bay and the Mountains of Mourne - classified as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'. You would find it difficult to find a more spectacular view anywhere in Northern Ireland. The apartment is south-facing and is bright and sunny all day long. It has a large spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area and balcony. The superb floor to ceiling corner windows frame the amazing view while you cook, eat or relax! The apartment has wifi and all modern conveniences. The master bedroom is ensuite with a king size bed and views of the bay (fabulous for enjoying the sunrise), the second has a double bed and the third two single beds. We can accommodate 6 guests in total. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair. The apartment has solid wood floors, original artwork, high quality beds and furniture and contemporary furnishings - all guaranteed to ensure you have a comfortable stay - but of course the view steals the show! - ever changing throughout the day as the tide ebbs and flows in and out of the bay! ***Please kindly note that the gas fire in our apartment is not in operation*** Things to do: Whether you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all holiday or an adventure filled holiday, our apartment offers you a gateway to both. Dundrum offers breathtaking views, historical sites and nature walks, In nearby Newcastle you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, mountain climbing, canoeing etc. Newcastle has a world class golf course (Down Royal), which recently hosted the Walker Cup. The stunning Slieve Donard Hotel has a luxury spa, perfect for a little pampering. Castlewellan has a beautiful castle, lake and gardens - perfect for walks. cycling and canoeing. Within a half day or full day's drive you can enjoy most of the tourist sites of Northern Ireland - Strangford Lough, Antrim Coast, Fermanagh lakes, the city of Belfast, historic towns of Downpatrick and Armagh and beautiful villages such as Hillsborough and Crawfordsburn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The flat was very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Our host was very helpful and our lovely welcome pack was a lovely added touch. The views are stunning from the lounge and Master Bedroom and the beds very comfortable making for a peaceful nights sleep.
Murlough Nature Reserve is within walking distance with lots of walks and wildlife on the doorstep, yet Belfast is only 45 minutes away.
We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for next year.

We spent 5 nights here and were very impressed with everything. It looked just as good as the photos on the website. It was spacious and clean and very well equipped. The location was excellent for exploring County Down. I would stay here again.

From the minute we entered the apartment the views from every large window were spectacular, the location of the apartment was excellent. Restaurants were excellent. Most relaxing time was spent in Dundrum. Would love to return soon.

The views from the property were amazing and ever changing! We loved your well appointed home.
We enjoyed dinners out at Bucks Head Inn and Mourne Seafood. Brennan’s took care of our grocery/beverage needs.
The Dundrum Castle is a must see and boasts the most beautiful views and great photo opportunities.
We walked the Murlough Nature Reserve, a 6 mile walk that takes you to the beach on the Irish Sea, absolutely beautiful.

When you walk in, the open floorplan and windows all around feels like you are right on the beach! Very well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Beds are comfe and good closet storage. My favorite part though was seeing the tide come and go and how it changed the landscape. Great location to shopping, pubs, restaurants, and beach combing. Janet was a wonderful host with quick response to any question.

Enjoyed our 3 nite stay at Dundrum, apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. Great balcony with views over the bay. We enjoyed Murlough walks and Tollymore forest park was gorgeous too. Enjoyed drinks in the local Dundrum Inn .. highly recommend 😄

What a find !! beautiful apartment with stunning views , easy check in and the host was very helpful with local amenaties phone numbers etc this apartment has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay and the apartment was spotless on our arrival attention to detail made it feel like home from home . Restaurants close by within walking distance and lots of spaces to park beside apartment . A short drive to Newcastle which has lots of restaurants and bars with good food . I will definitely be back to stay again !!!

Always look forward to this week
We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The standard of the property is extremely high and maintenance is not an issue. Great to have two good restaurants within walking distance and close to other attractions.

We were blown away by the vista of this property - the twice-daily changing of the tide that shifted the back-drop from water to sand. All helped by the huge corner windows. Very spacious. Expertly decorated. And a 2 min walk to Mourne’s Seafood, the best scones of my life at the Blue Bay cafe (open weekends only), and the bustling Dundrum Inn pub. Loved walking along the coast for as far as the eye could see. A wonderful addition to our Ireland experience.

We were blown away by the vista of this property - the twice-daily changing of the tide that shifted the back-drop from water to sand. All helped by the huge corner windows. Very spacious. Expertly decorated. And a 2 min walk to Mourne’s Seafood, the best scones of my life at the Blue Bay cafe (open weekends only), and the bustling Dundrum Inn pub. Loved walking along the coast for as far as the eye could see. A wonderful addition to our Ireland experience.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Janet’s apartment. The photos don’t do the view justice and the apartment is even nicer than the photos as well. We had a little problem with the boiler but Janet was wonderful and sorted things out to our satisfaction for the inconvenience. And I’m sure it was just one of those things. I couldn’t get a booking at the Mourne Seafood but Janet managed to pull some strings and kindly got us in. Both restaurants are only a very short walk from the apartment. There is so much to see and do from the Murlough nature reserve (Murlough beach runs right around from Dundrum bay to Newcastle) to Castlewellan and a must is Silent Valley which is absolutely stunning. This was my first holiday in Northern Ireland and I would go back to Janet’s fabulous apartment in a heartbeat. Sitting on the balcony looking at the view you couldn’t beat it. Can't recommend this apartment enough it is without doubt the best I've ever stayed in. So thanks Janet for making everything so special.

Although we had pretty poor weather we really enjoyed our stay at No. 39 The Quays. The apartment is beautifully furnished and much thought has gone into the planning.
Our favourite time was breakfast and looking over Dundrum bay and towards the Mournes.

The apartment is absolutely stunning, and definitely has the "wow factor"! The views are amazing! We had a lovely relaxing three nights and would highly recommend. We will definetly be back!

Perfect apartment with amazing views !
We had a great and much needed break at this lovely apartment. Communication with the owner from our initial booking was excellent with plenty of information about finding and gaining access to reassuring us of cleaning etc. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The views were amazing and changed as the tide came in and out so we did a lot of birdwatching from the balcony! Parking was good and the area and apartment block were quiet so this suited us well
We would definitely return to Janet’s apartment.
