Great communication from the host. Comfortable place to stay.

Comfortable place to stay. Fabulous communication with the host 10/10.

It was missing a flat tray for the oven, ie: to cook a pizza on. And a paring knife to cut fruit would have been nice. We were also looking for a pair of scissors.

Geraldton Luxury Retreat 2 Fourth Street Wonthella

Convenient location for what we needed

Bedroom 2 door handle loose and fell apart. House was dirty, fans, blinds, light fittings were covered in dust. Faeces on main toilet floor, shower recess in main bathroom dirty. No extra blankets so was cold. Doubles beds were advertised in all 4 bedrooms but the weren't at least one was only a king single. BBQ was rusty and when we cleaned the top to use, put alfoil on to cook, the tray underneath caught fire nearly burning my friend, couldn't get gas bottle undone to move so near blew it up which would've killed my friend, flames got that high it could've caught the leaves and debris in the gutters alight. Fan in the oven doesn't work so when the grill was turned on it smoked so we couldn't use it. Reticulation at the front yard is broken and shoots a jet of water straight up flooding the front yard. Under the stove burners weren't clean and is not only a health issue but also a fire hazard. The Reticulation out the back floods the alfresco area where the BBQ is. 2 Red-back spiders in the cupboard on one of the rooms Switch to the fan in the livingroom sparked when turned on to air out the house after the BBQ caught fire. No mop to clean the floors if anything was spilt, had to use towels. When you turn on the taps in the main bathroom they make an awful knocking noise which wakes up the entire house. Cups had not been cleaned from previous renters, they weren't checked before we went in, had to be washed before we could use them. On day of vacating we called the owner and had him come in to discuss our concerns who was very arrogant and he blatantly called us liars and the clean police, saying we didn't light the BBQ, had wet hands turning on switch, it was a mistake about the beds on the site and we weren't getting any money back due to the fact we were charge at a lower rate than a backpackers and blatantly told us to leave and put in a bad review as he didn't care.

Great location, great family holiday home. Love the style of the kitchen. Great space for a family or some alone time.

Rugs needed to be washed the were dusty. So we had to wash rugs, sheets and pillows slips even the towels. I suffer from really bad hayfever and OCD and can't smell dust or fluff it messes badly with my sinuses.
