The receptionist (who worked on the weekdays) is very friendly, kind and helpful. He gave us good recommendations about where to go, and helped us book kakao taxi as we couldn't do it on our phones. He speaks good Korean, Chinese and English. We used Chinese to communicate since we are all Chinese. There is a shared pantry area where u can brew your coffee and eat your breakfast. There was no hand soap except dish detergent initially, but later on I saw the receptionist bought one which was kind and observant of him.
We didn't like the fact that the room size seems the same across all room types. We booked 4-people room but the room is not any bigger. There is barely walking space once we placed our 4 baggages on the floor. The bed sheet looked dirty, we saw black stains or marks on the bed sheet and pillow. It was honestly quite disturbing to see these but we didn't want to make a fuss about it. However the room is really small, we had to navigate our way and meander around our stuff with great difficulty despite trying our best to tidy our things. We requested to change room the following day, and the receptionist showed us a room which has larger corridor space near the door, where we can put our baggage. It was a little bit more spacious but it was still not easy to move around. Wouldn't recommend for 4 ppl to stay in this hostel, but it is suitable for 1 or 2 ppl to stay. We chose this place because of the location and read past review that it is spacious, but probably not for 4 ppl.
