The room was clean, staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in the hotel - the food was good as was the service. There was a good breakfast buffet which you eat in the historic part of the building - so a good atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently situated - right in the centre of Sandnes and right by the train station. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The bed was a bit too soft for our liking but that is personal preference.

A truly delightful stay. The hotel’s design was both authentic and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout. Every detail felt comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was a highlight—beautifully presented, carefully selected, and absolutely delicious. The staff were kind and attentive, making the experience even more memorable.
I truly appreciated the warm and detailed communication from the hotel before my stay, especially the helpful tips about the accommodation and local parking possibilities. However, all the messages were in Norwegian, even though my booking and name clearly suggested I’m a foreign guest and likely unfamiliar with the language. It would have made the experience even more welcoming if the information had been shared in English or another widely spoken language. That said, the effort and hospitality were very much appreciated!
