A beautiful location in a former monastery. The hotel has a lovely design, stunning mountain views, and is very peaceful and quiet. A good restaurant inside the hotel. The nearby town of Belmonte is charming and historic. Serra da Estrela is about an hour’s drive from the hotel.
The staff can be quite slow, we had to wait up to 30 minutes for a drink ordered at the bar. It would also be nice to have bathrobes in the room.

Great location on top of the mountain. We staid there on our way out of Lisboa back to Belgium. It was the perfect hidden gem with fantastic view and quietness after the noisy city

Arquitetura excepcional e lindo enquadramento na Natureza. A piscina. A varanda do quarto. Conforto e decoração dos quartos e salas comuns. Pequeno almoço excelente.
As plantas de plástico contrastam com o estilo cuidado e clássico da decoração dos interiores. Nota-se alguma humidade em certas zonas dos tectos e paredes. Poderia haver chaleira nos quartos ou a pedido, hoje comum em hotéis desta categoria e muito cómodo.
