At the hotel all was well. Our problem was thé total lack of nearby restaurants and bars. We did not want to take our car into the town centre so à taxi cost €16 each way.
Only thé lack of restaurants and bars. After a long journey we like to relax with a good meal and a decent drink.

The breakfast was lovely. The room was large and had everything we needed. No air con unfortunately so a big fan on all through the night kept us cool(ish)
The gentleman at reception said he’d waited for us- we arrived at 10.30 pm having understood that check in could have been even later. We had to check in via his phone to another person whose English was excellent. A bit unusual! It all felt a bit awkward but no unpleasantness.
