The location was perfect for us. The staff were very warm and welcoming and very eager to help. The food was excellent and served in a lovely relaxing setting in the dining room.

We were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who gave us all the local information we needed. The hotel has a lovely garden on he edge of the river Selune where we enjoyed some local perry before dinner.
Our room ws spotless, had a lovely bathroom, was quiet and everything we needed for one night.

No AC
Room was small and a little dark as no windows in the bedroom. The garden view rooms are in a separate building in the garden. There is not point paying the extra for a “garden view” room as the view can only be seen when sitting on the bed with the front door open.
While dinner was excellent the choice was extremely limited and portions quite small. Service was uncomfortable as they came to clear our starter about 4 times while it was obvious our plates were not empty.
