Everything was great, especially the mattress. Great place, probably as close as you can stay to university (walking).
Breakfast was also very nice. People were very friendly and everything was lovely and clean
I loved the breakfast but I struggled with the fact that one had to pre-order breakfast for all days upon arrival (and it will be the same every day) and that one had to mention when one intends to arrive for breakfast. I would have liked to decide more short notice when i actually go for breakfast. Also, even if I wasn't too hungry, I got the full plate. That s nice but I would have preferred to choose every day (basically a buffet). I understand that the place operates or has to operate in a different way, but this would just have been my personal preference. I loved the stay very much though.

Vriendelijke, open management. Heerlijk ontbijt en fijne bedden. Rustig buiten en op alle vragen antwoord. Wij kwamen voor de Manifesta 2026 en Ruhrtriënnale en dit hotel was een prima uitvalsbasis

Das kleine Familienhotel hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Alles ist neu renoviert und das Personal ist sehr freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man kann von hier aus in 10 Minuten zur Ruhruni laufen. Auch Restaurants sind dort zu finden. Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist aber das Frühstück, das persönlich abgestimmt für einen vorbereitet wird und mehr als üppig ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Breakfast was great and the service was good
The shower was not clean, but since i didn't complain they didn't get the chance to fix that.
The beds were a little bit too soft so we put the matrasses on the ground.
