Cinema City Hotel Europaplatz Karlsruhe - Brand New Boutique Hotel 2025 -

Very good value and convenient location with lots of public transport options outside and restaurants etc nearby. Everything was well thought through and clean. No fuss. Good parking nearby (c EU25 overnight). Quiet room and comfortable bed

Were a bit confused standing outside with an access code that didn't work at that time of day. A little notice at the entrance would have been helpful. Slightly raffish area but not at all scary.

La gentillesse du personnel , la propreté des locaux, le petit déjeuner, le calme .

Ce qui peut être négatif pour l’hôtel, c’est le coût très cher des parkings qu’ils soient souterrains ou non.

* Staff were able to assist when I requested additional items for my room. * The remote check-in process worked, despite arriving after 10 pm when there was nobody on site. * The hotel has potential, but a few improvements would make the overall experience much better.

* For the price, I expected more basic amenities in the room. There was no kettle, tea or coffee, tissues or standard bathroom toiletries beyond wall-mounted hand soap and body wash. * Despite booking a double room, only one single duvet and one towel were provided. I had to request additional bedding and a towel from reception. * Housekeeping is only available on request rather than daily. * Staff were sometimes reluctant to help, and I had to go to reception each time I needed something that I would have expected to be provided in the room. * Apart from the breakfast room there are no communal areas available to guests. I was disappointed that I couldn’t easily have a cup of tea outside breakfast hours, particularly as there are no facilities to make one in the room. * Noise travelled easily between rooms. I could clearly hear people talking and coughing in the neighbouring rooms, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as street noise as the room was street facing. * Housekeeping entered my room while I was showering to deliver the additional duvet I had requested. I was startled, almost slipped and fell, and bruised my arm against the shower shelf. Staff should knock and wait for a response before entering an occupied room. * The fire alarm went off on Saturday evening, requiring all guests to evacuate, although it was a false alarm. Overall, the stay was okay, but the lack of basic amenities and the need to request essentials individually made it less comfortable than expected for the price. A kettle and tea-making facilities, adequate towels and bedding, better soundproofing and a more welcoming approach to guest requests would significantly improve the experience.
