Room 302 was perfect for us. Plenty space, calm and with a magnificent view! The spa area was relaxing and beautiful

I have been a guest of hotels in Austria or South Tyrol for over 30 years, especially in winter, for skiing. I had long wanted to experience the Alps in summer. That's how I ended up at the Vitalhotel Kaiserhof for 2 days, taking a break from a longer journey. The hotel is located in a wonderful place, on the mountainside, with a spectacular view from the balconies and the restaurant terrace towards the Inn River Valley.
Being located in the area of several easy mountain trails, we managed to take a wonderful swim in the Moserer Lake, located just 10 minutes walking from the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and cheerful.
The hotel itself is a little old, and our reservation was not cheap at all, so I expected better value.
The food at the restaurant and breakfast was of average quality, not bad, but not great either. On the other hand, what completely disappointed me was the quality of the service during dinners. Although the waiters were very kind, the food took a long time to be served (over an hour and a quarter from the time of ordering), the side dishes were mixed up, even one order (I received chicken instead of pork, but after so much waiting, I didn't risk prolonging it and ate what I received), I didn't receive the additional drinks I requested twice. I suspect that the kitchen/restaurant area is understaffed, but as a customer I don't think that's an acceptable excuse, and unfortunately, I haven't encountered such poor service in a very, very long time.
I hope the owners/managers will improve these aspects because it's a real pity. With best regards!

Window view
despite the fact that the hotel day lasts until 11, the service man with the bill and Polcard knocked on our door at 10.55 and claimed that we should hurry up because other guests are waiting. It was not comfortable for me because I am in advanced pregnancy and have mobility limitations.
