The stay was very satisfactory. The interior is modern. The bathroom in particular was a highlight, thanks to a very comfortable shower setup and well-designed lighting.
There are plenty of parking spaces available, which felt very safe due to a high, modern fence. The location is also very convenient, offering a direct view of both the sea and a mountain peak right from the breakfast balcony.
Regarding breakfast options, soy milk was available, and it was possible to get a soy cappuccino made with Barista Edition soy milk (I was even able to have two). Additionally, the reception was staffed even late at night, giving the impression of a 24/7 front desk service.
While value for money in Italy is generally very acceptable after the school holidays end in mid-September, at this hotel it was exceptionally good. Getting a 50-square-meter apartment equipped with a large refrigerator for €76 per night right by the beach was a very pleasant experience.
It required some thought to find negative points, which is a good sign in itself. However, a fairly busy road runs directly in front of the hotel, and the room's soundproofing is not sufficient to fully block out the traffic noise. Additionally, as is often the case in Southern Italy, the staff's English language skills could be improved.

Neues etwas steril wirkendes Gebäude: doch obwohl an Strandpromenade gelegen stört Verkehrslärm nicht! Frühstück für hiesige Verhältnisse durchaus passabel!
Ich suche mir ausschließlich nur Hotels zum Übernachten heraus und komme hier gegen 17:30 an! Habe den ganzen Tag auf dem Motorrad gesessen, hatte kleinere Panne in Messina, habe stundenlang vergeblich nach Bankautomaten gesucht, musste gerade eben ausserdem durch eine Mautstelle kommen, die grundsätzlich keine(!) Kreditkarte akzeptierte, der Benzintank zeigte bereits „Reserve“ an, ich habe seit Stunden nichts gegessen, es war am Tage über 30 Grad und ich will nun so schnell wie möglich aus dem Leder raus - mit anderen Worten: will so schnell wie möglich in das gebuchte Zimmer und aufs Bett fallen! DOCH DIE TÜR ZUR REZEPTION IST GESCHLOSSEN!!! Es ist unfassbar!!! Kein Schild, kein Hinweis, nur Telefonnummer. Also dort anrufen, bloss um zu erfahren „… zur Zeit nicht erreichbar…“! Als ich verzweifelt nach Möglichkeit zur Stornierung der Buchung suche, erscheint jemand mit vielen Entschuldigungen, gibt mir endlich Schlüsselkarte - die dann aber nicht funktioniert, also wieder runter, danach in Begleitung wieder hoch, doch auch dieses Mal funktioniert Schlüsselkarte nicht, also wieder runter, um danach neue Schlüsselkarte zu bekommen - und wieder hoch! Endlich klappt es, die Tür öffnet sich - aber ich werde hier nicht wieder herkommen wollen!
