Room was really spacious, bed was comfy and the shower was really good. There’s shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion provided in the bathroom. There’s also a mini fridge which was great. The grounds are beautiful, and they clearly take good care of everything. There’s a small convenience shop in reception which is handy in case you need something and don’t want to go out to the shops. WiFi was decent around the whole property
The walls and floors are paper thin, you could hear everything in the adjacent and above/below rooms, and the room I was in backed onto the huge main road going around Arequipa which meant constant traffic noise - I stayed in a couple of other accommodations in the historical centre of Arequipa and nowhere was nearly as noisy as this place. If you’re a light sleeper, you’ll definitely need earplugs. Provided hairdryer in the bathroom was a bit hit and miss.

Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. When we arrived very early in the morning, staff was accomodating and let us use the common facilities. Appreciated the welcome drink. We also booked a Colca Canyon tour with them which was really good. We didn’t really spend a lot of time in the hostel but the garden looked lovely.
All was good for our short stay.

I absolutely loved Qema, it is one of the most beautiful hotels in which I stayed, the areas are nice, big, peaceful and well maintained. The staff is kind and helpful. I stayed in a triple room that was spacious and comfortable, my whole experience was amazing in Arequipa✨

Location was great. The outdoor area seems great, although I didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. Beds are relatively comfy.
The rooms are small, dark and dingy, the shared bathroom is one toilet and shower in the same room and shared between about 8 rooms. The staff reluctantly helped when I said my room smelt like cat pee but mainly just made me feel like a burden.
