First and foremost, I have to mention the restaurant and then the view!
This was probably the best restaurant experience of a three-week driving trip from the UK through Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France - which was not at all what we were expecting, since this was just meant to be a convenient stop on the way! Although we are meat-eaters and had the special steak option (it was our anniversary) the attention and imagination paid to vegetables impressed we the most; with vegetarian children I am always mindful of a restaurant’s options. The vegetable dishes were fantastic.
The view, of course, is spectacular and the hotel is perched on the northern, outer, uphill edge of the town itself which means nothing restricts your 360 degree view of the Alps. Just stunning.
The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, well provided for, clean.
Staff are also friendly and helpful; although we arrived in the evening and left in the morning, our main experience of them was, again, in the restaurant!
If we are taking this route again, we absolutely will stay here.

Street traffic noise can be intrusive late at night, need to use the AC and close the windows

Clean and tidy good welcome . Comfortable bed. Efficient and professional staff. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant and menu looked very good but we had already eaten en route.
Was a little further out of aosta than we thought and on main rd . Slightly overpriced for the facilities, but it was a Saturday night and may have been still on a high season tariff
