I asked if it would be possible to change our room to be closer to our parents, who had an upgraded room, and I believe the staff kindly upgraded our room as well, which we really appreciated. The staff were friendly, kind and polite throughout our stay. Thank you for this. The location is very good if you have a car. Within just a few minutes you can reach Anthony Quinn Bay, the huge beach in Afantou, Tsambika Beach and Kolympia. There is also a large supermarket only a few minutes away, which is very convenient. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the hotel, so we never had an issue finding a place to park. The frappé made at the hotel was actually quite good. It is not included and has to be paid for separately, but it is good value for money. There were also lots of cats around the hotel, which I was always happy to see! 🐈

There was no iron available. The only iron they had was damaged and left dirt and marks on our clothes. This was extremely frustrating, especially considering that we had spent hundreds of euros on our clothing, only to arrive and find that there was no proper iron available. Of course, we could go and buy an iron ourselves, but that is beside the point. The canteen area was chaotic. There were simply not enough tables for the number of guests, so you often had to wait outside until somebody finished eating before you could get a table. The food was below average. I ate it because I had to eat, not because I enjoyed it. Most of the food had very little taste, with dishes either far too salty or with no salt at all. There was also very little sense of an authentic Greek experience. We came to Greece expecting to experience some Greek culture and hospitality, but the hotel felt completely disconnected from that. Most of the staff and kitchen staff appeared to be international, and overall it simply did not feel like a Greek experience. The cocktails were very poor. They might seem fine if you have never had a properly made cocktail before, but otherwise they were very disappointing. The downside of the location is that without a car, you might fall into depression! There is basically nothing within walking distance apart from a small shop. I also wouldn’t recommend walking to Afantou town centre - the road feels dangerous for pedestrians, cars don’t seem to mind people walking, and even in the town there are barely any proper pavements.

Amazing staff and facilities. Everybody is super kind. The organisation of everything was on time and great.

It’s a nice complex, well laid out and the staff are excellent. Manos the barman was a lot of fun, and the girls running reception and the restaurant are great. We were in the rooms that hadn’t yet been upgraded but it did the job just fine. Food tasted good.

The pool, bar and restaurant areas aren’t big enough for the number of guests there. It’s not truly all inclusive if you have to buy water, spirits before 6 and they also charge for all drinks between 10:30pm and midnight.
