The room was perfect for my purposes and just as I envisaged. A very comfortable, large bed, spotlessly clean everywhere, kettle and unlimited tea, and a large bathroom with shower. There were very clear und useful instructions on how to save energy, etc. As I like doing some exercise, the walk into town and back, which is very picturesque, was no problem (ca. 20–30 minutes each way, depending on the route), but there are regular busses, too.
The only minor issue was the noise from the road, but that generally stops around 9 pm. With the window closed, it was no problem anyway, and even closing the thick curtains with the window slightly open reduced the noise considerably. So there was no problem with traffic noise during the night.
