Great hotel and friendly staff. The location is good for a stopover or a longer stay.. very few guests but perhaps it is towards the end of the season and chain hotels may compete. It deserves to be tried. A great breakfast and all round pleasant experience.

We've stayed at Cit'Hotel on multiple occasions and return each time due to its excellent facilities, space, culture, breakfast and location, being just off the A26. This time, the staff were courteous, professional and friendly.

The Hotel was a mixture, overall the place looked like it was going to be knocked down, then they changed there minds and it is waiting for major refurbishment, Breakfast was pretty awful although I did manage something to eat. The bar was modern the food was awful, dried out lasagne. The rooms are very dark and I had to ask to have lights put on in the breakfast room, There was only 2 rooms booked for breakfast other than that it was deserted. There was only ever one person on duty but the bed was warm and comfy and the shower very good.
