Hotel Cochemer Jung

perfect central location, spacious room

no obvious place to park and unload luggage, parking is a long way from hotel - not an issue for us but if you're less agile it's a long downhill/uphill walk. the "city view" was across a narrow street into an office next door. the aircon unit controller was positioned just behind the TV and i only found it after a very hot sweaty night - so annoying.

The breakfast was very good. The hotel situated in a great location close to the city center and all the attractions. The hotel has a very nice and friendly staff who explained everything.

There were no parking place at the hotel as it is advertised when you hook the hotel. We were told that all parking is booked but actually this is not a true. Actually I choose this hotel because of the parking but the hotel does not have any parking. So it should be removed from the hotel advertisement. Because this is a wrong information. There is no fridge at the room. I asked to have the room with the river view but I was asked to pay 20 euros for that which surprised me since I booked the last hotel room based on the web site. If the room with the view costs 20 euros more it should be advertised on the booking and should be transparent. There is no reception like a hotel but there is a room at the entrance of the building with a staff who works as a reception. For the parking you can park your car in front of hitel but you need to pay for the parking 2 euros every two hours so this is very inconvenient. Another option is to park your car on the side of the river which costs 3 euros for one day. We choose to park our car in the garage close by the hotel 10 euros for one day.

Everything. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is picturesque. They have thought about everything and their attention to detail is fantastic. My daughter particularly loved the breakfast.

There was nothing I would improve about this hotel.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, location is central.

I came at 10h and not really friendly way, they told be "come back at 15h", not even asking if they can store our luggage or we need some information, nothing. "Your check in is at 15h, come back later." Staff at the breakfast had all the time a lemon face. The only friendly lady was at the check in. And the internet was the whole time impossible to connect.
