Dioskouros Hostel

Everything was perfect about the hostel. Alex & Nadia were very friendly and ready to help. I had a takeaway breakfast that was already packed at 03:30 am. I warmly recommend this hostel and will absolutely re-book it when I’m in Athens.

One thing I really missed was having a fridge. It would have been very useful to have a shared fridge on each floor where guests could keep water and other small things. Especially in the summer, having cold water available would have been really convenient. I give 8 points

Nice little place close to everything

Clean room, we booked 2 large 3-bed rooms with shower and bath. Location is perfect if you shall only spend 1 night in Athen. Low budget option so you must adjust expectation to the facilities. That said the whole family of 5 was satisfied with our one nigh stay. Easy to store luggage both in lockers and in the social area if needed.

Breakfast could improve by making sure all options, incl cofee, was available in the whole Breakfast period

The location is great. The breakfast was simple but good.

Breakfast doesn’t open until 8am, so if you’ve got tickets for the Acropolis or any other tourist spot before that time, please be aware. The bathroom was dirty, and there was only 1 toilet for the whole floor. There were 2 showers, but only 1 had a door that actually locked, the other one’s door didn’t lock and was facing the corridor. There was no shower screen, so water splashed everywhere, and you had to use a really old mop.
