Очень красивый дизайн как самого отеля, так и комнат. На территории есть зона с фотогеничным infinity-бассейном, он небольшой, но и гостей не так много, поэтому было комфортно. Классные виды из номера (у нас был номер с балконом и видом на океан). В номере есть все необходимое, чего ждёшь от 5* отеля, особо отмечу удобную кровать и black-out шторы (сон был идеальным!). Кондиционер настраивался так, что не дул на кровать, можно было с ним комфортно спать.
Шикарный сервис со стороны всех сотрудников отеля, начиная от ресепшена, заканчивая рестораном.
Отмечу вкусную еду в ресторане, качество еды хорошее. Завтраки включены в проживание, так же можно обедать и ужинать в ресторане на территории.
У отеля есть свой пляж, куда раз в час ходит трансфер либо можно доехать на своей полноприводной машине. Пляж не купабельный, но приятный для отдыха, с красивыми видами.
Пожалуй, главный минус - это цены на еду в ресторане. Я понимаю, что в Коста-Рику едет много богатых американцев, для которых $200 за ужин - это вообще не деньги, но объективно, по мировым меркам, это высокий ценник за ресторан при отеле. Несмотря на то, что все было вкусно, это все же не мишленовский ресторан....
И второе - завтраки фиксированы (около 10 опций), смешивать их нельзя, это для 5* отеля странно и неудобно. И сами порции на завтрак, конечно, не очень большие, обычно в 5* отелях по миру есть на завтрак буфет без ограничений. Такое стремление отеля сэкономить на завтраке при столь высокой цене проживания непонятно и, если честно, не вызывает желания остановиться ещё раз...

Would rate this as one of my favourite hotels I have stayed in - views were amazing, sunset was one of the best I have see. Food exceptional, staff lovely - and the bumpy shuttle to a wonderful little beach that had no-one on it, so it was our private beach for a few hours !!! No sand, but idyllic little spot with only a tortoise and macaws for company. Wow - what a gem of a hotel.
If I am being really picky, I would have liked a magnifying make up ladies mirror attached in the bathroom

Amazing view. Very historic and interesting location. Staff was overall friendly, but we left an item at the hotel and they were not able to assist us. The hotel itself was amazing. It was the second time we stayed. It’s a bit overpriced for what they deliver but certainly one of the best options in the area. There’s no reason not to stay there.

Some great views from the rooms but rooms are very pokey and have definitely seen better days.
The hotel claims five stars but in reality is an average three star property.
Poor maintenance and outdated rooms being the main reasons for this
The restaurant food is average and over priced.
Poor cleanliness of the rooms.
Overall, poor value for money.
