Great location and price for this time of the year.
Staff seemed a little cold but this may just be due to the off session

La posizione, molto comoda e vista del ristorante bellissima.
La nostra camera era vicino alla strada ma nessun rumore
Nella nostra camera al mattino c’era un po’ odore di laguna, ma niente di sconvolgente

We had a superior room with sea view and a nice terrace facing the sea. The terrace was equipped with both sunbeds and a small table with chairs. Good breakfast. Nice "grass beach" which was very comfortable and had easy access to the sea for a swim
The location is a few kilometers away from Porto Santo Stefano where there are more restaurants. The hotel offered a free shuttle bus

Lication, the sea, the food, service people at the restaurant
AC did not work half the tine
We hot no gesture or diacount, we could
Not sleep in the heat half the nights we were there
WiFi quality is bad, unreliable, we could not do our work
The reception cannot help with recommendations at all so no concierge service

Fantastic location and friendly staff.

We liked the ambient.
However, we were at first disappointed about our room as the online site showed the standard rooms (which we had booked) as much larger than the one we were shown to. On pointing this out we were given another room which was much better which we enjoyed.
The pool could have been heated. Sadly it was never warm enough to use.

The view is amazing, the room was very nice as well. The thing I loved the most about the stay was that every little detailed was though-trough. For instance, they gave my dog a nice little bed, plates to eat from and even some food.
everything was perfect.

A very pleasant stay! The hotel is in a nice place, by the sea and served us an excellent breakfast! kind staff as well!
The restaurant can offer a better service. a bit pricey and little food.

- Friendly and helpful staff at the reception and the beach
- Amazing level of cleanliness, very fast, efficient and kind cleaning service
- Exceptional & romantic view from our room
- Good & fresh breakfast
- Sun beds are assigned to a room number so you won't have to fight for them even at the busiest time of year
- Perfect spot to enjoy quiet & peaceful vacation
- You are always reminded that it used to be a villa. Our room was super small, so was the bed and walls are paper thin
- Very dangerous exit from the hotel, no visibility to make the only turn you should take (continuous line)
- The location is by the road between two cities and you can't walk around or go anywhere without a car (which we had but we still felt isolated)
- The breakfast staff is doing its best but remains disorganized to the point where they look overwhelmed by a half empty room

the swimming pool area is nicely done
very small rooms, super small shower, could hear the cars on the road from the bedroom.

The view was mesmerizing, sea view all around with amazing beaches.
The hotel located near a small town on an island that has various authentic family restaurants, I personally recommend the “Da Nicco” restaurant, their pizza is one of the best I had.
The staff were very friendly, well-mannered and professional.
Breakfast was great and has a lot of options.
Rooms were very clean and had great views even with partial sea view.
The rooms weren’t spacious but still, very clean and aesthetically pleasing.

The view. Balcony. Quiet. Parking. Great breakfast. It was to cold to use the outdoor sitting area but it was a great setup. Also nice pool area. Sitting area was in a grass location as there really is no "beach". You can walk down to the water. If you like view and privacy over a sandy beach (like we do) this is absolutely great. We booked this place for a 2nd night we liked it so well.
The only downside might be that it is a bit out of town so if you do not have a car to get to town and other restaurants this may be a difficulty. As such you are limited to the restaurant on site. The restaurant is a bit pricey and limited on options, a bit snooty. It was a cold evening so we had to wear our coats during dinner, but the view is fantastic.

Good Italien breakfest, Great Service and phantastic restaurant

Beautiful Junior Suite on the 2nd floor - Giglio Suite with gorgeous sea views and amazing sunsets. Modern light furnishing, beautiful bathroom with double vanity. Great breakfast buffet and really good restaurant with amazing views. Direct access to the crystal clear ocean and hotel provides paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear
The first night we were in a junior suite on the ground floor which didn't have direct sea views and the room was very dark. Also bathroom was not very modern. We asked to be moved which happened the following morning. Great service. The junior suite on the 2nd floor was no comparison to the ground floor 'suite'. I don't understand how they can justify charging the same rate.

Our stay at Hotel Villa Domizia could not have been better. from the easy to reach location right on the edge of Porto Santo Stefano, to the sweeping views of the sea, to the impeccable and thoughtful service, to the outstanding food from the hotel restaurant (Michelin starred!) or fabulous drinks from the poolside / seaside bar - this place has it all. It’s also so quiet and serene - you immediately feel relaxed. And the staff - I cannot emphasize enough how thoughtful and attentive they were! We were one of the few American tourists there and they never made us feel like a bother when we took a little longer to order or had additional questions. It was also a short 1.5 hour drive to the Rome airport which makes it super convenient for folks looking to add a sea-leg to their Roman holiday!
Literally nothing - this place is amazing!

The location was amazing - private area with access to the sea. Staff very kind
Our room was a little bit small - the furniture was basic. The breakfast wasn’t that great

the highlight of the hotel was the outdoor area. the sea and deck chairs/ view was immaculate and breathtaking. this was definitely the unique selling point of the hotel. the breakfast spread was also good, but the warm food was scarce and a lot of the fruit and eggs ran out and were not replenished without asking.
the room cleaning was very good!
the hotel staff were friendly, especially the bar tenders working by the beach restaurant.
overall, we deemed the hotel to be a really good three star hotel. certain touches were above a 3, which where:
1) the cushioned deck chairs
2) the dressing gown
3) daily turn downs
for a four star hotel you would expect a coffee station/ machine in the room.
the food (lunch) was very expensive. we took a trip into town during the day due to this. a salad is priced at €20 and a sandwich at €15, which is something I’ve only seen in a 5 star hotel.
also, we received fresh orange juice every morning for the first two mornings. there was a lovely orange station where you could cut orange juice and make the juice yourself. after the third day, they started charging €6 for this, which was not very thoughtful.

The location was good the hotel offer transportation to several locations free of charge
I wish they had a more variety of food on their menu. Have a special item nightly.

From the moment we checked in, the manager, Barbara, was extremely helpful! Suzanna, the receptionist, was above and beyond accommodating. Our suite overlooked the sea and was spacious. We dined in their restaurant and it was excellent! Con Gusto was amazing and the food and servers were first class! I would highly recommend this property!
The parking is a little tight and GPS doesn’t get you there.

The staff - very nice
The beach - calm and resting and included with room rate
Nice roof restaurant
Bed little short for me

The room was the worst of the Hotel, located in the basement, no value for the money paid, not recommended

As far as (pricey, but) comfortable, relaxing, romantic seaside vacations are concerned, Villa Domizia is nothing short of perfect.
1. Firstly, it somehow surrounds you with warm hospitality and pleasant, comfortable yet noninvasive service. It is not just about the welcoming receptionist - attention to detail and care radiates from every single member of the staff.
2. The view from the room is stunning - make sure you book the room with a sea view.
3. The hotel restaurant is a treat. Pick a "fixed menu" dinner offering - it strikes a perfect balance between fancy high cuisine (you know, those small bits artistically served on large plates) and not having you leave the table hungry.
4. Hotel has its own small grassy beach with a pool, umbrellas and a bar with amazing cocktails. You can use it if you arrive early and as long as you want on the day after you check out. There are a couple of canoes for you to paddle around the nearby cliffs. Bring your own snorkeling gear as well to look for any fish around the cliffs (there wasn't much when we stayed though).
5. Hotel has its own parking.
Although there's nothing in particular I'd complain about, here are a couple of things to be aware of:
1. This is not a budget location. Even if you see a good deal on the room price you'll miss out if you come here without the freedom to splurge an extra €100 per person for dinner and then another €50 or so for a nice lunch or a couple of aperitivo cocktails, or, say, for ordering room service to enjoy a meal on the balcony with that amazing view.
2. It is probably better suited to those coming with a car. By the way, you can use it to drive to via Panoramica to see great views of Argentario, hike around to Torre di Capo d'Uomo or down to some of the more secluded beaches. Feniglia is another great place reachable by car in a few minutes - renting a bike there and riding through the forest is a great way to spend a few hours.
3. The air conditioner in the room was of the noisier kind - in June it does not matter as you can simply switch it off and open the window, not sure about July or August.

Great location, right off the beach, sea kayaks
The noise above our room was a little loud, it is directly under the reception.
7.0
The room was spacious and featured a nice little balcony with a spectacular look into the bay. The Hotel was super clean and the staff was very friendly. They coped very well with the difficult circumstances around the COVID pandemic. We felt very safe and everybody was strictly following the health, safety and hygiene rules. Free parking by the property. Breakfast was of limited selection (due to COVID) but generally satisfactory. Nice private beach and absolute fabulous pool. Right by the sea with easy access.
The entry/exit to the Hotel is hard to find coming from the main road. they'd need a better description. For the service we received we felt the hotel was massively overpriced and not really justified. The Argentario is actually a Wild Life Reserve which means you have a lot of campers all around, which is something we didn't know/realise when we decided to visit the place. Consequently the quality of visitors is commensurate with campers and also the neighbourhood and the Villages of Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole and Orbetello are not at level with the image they like to display to the world. Despite being a Natural Reserve we saw a lot of garbage lying around.

The night before we stayed in a four-star hotel in Rome that was hardly more expensive but was of a vastly higher standard. On itself nothing wrong but Price/quality was disappointing in comparison. It was an average hotel and so far too expensive. The wifi connection was very bad and the breakfast was moderate.
