The location was perfect, quiet, very close to the beach. There weren't any clubs around the hostel wich made the stay nicer because there was no noise. Everything was in a short distance, no more than 5 minutes of walk except from the beach which was right in front of the hostel. The room was cozy, clean, with working AC. Everyday someone cleaned it. The staff was incredible, always willing to help.
The lack of a refrigerator, which wasn't that big of a deal though.

easy walking distance to all resorts facilities, beach, bars, restaurants, I was in a wheelchair freindly room which wasn't ideal as I dont use one and am 6 foot tall, but made do. everywhere I went in the Hostel was very clean and the staff only to pleased to help. Will definately go back

Usually stay overnight in Albufueira at the end of holidays, as it's a convenient train ride to the airport, the following day. My usual hotel was fully booked, so stayed at the Los Corchos. It was slightly more expensive and did not include breakfast in the rate. It's in a convenient location, set one street back from the sea front and a ten minute walk from the bus and train stations. The room and bathroom were clean. Would stay there again, but not as a first choice.
A fridge and a bidet would have been useful.
