Absolutely loved our stay at Faros Resort. We took a taxi from the port but there is a local bus that is cheap and easy also. We stayed a week and loved the room, the swimming pool and the breakfast was really lovely with many different options. We liked that we could walk into the local town to spend the day at the beach or go to a restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we highly recommend!

Amazing staff niko and his wife were amazing, very kind and helpful. We will be back to faros 100%. Booked for 2 days and decided to stay another 2. Once again thank you to the faros staff and a big thank you to niko and his wife, my bad forgot to ask her name.

The room was clean, the location is good (close to the city, but need to rent a scooter/car), the pool area is very nice
The beach of the property is impossible to use, badly maintained, not offering sunbeds or facilities, not clean.
Overall, the whole property is a bit rundown (except for the pool area), definitely this is not a resort.
The staff was only "okay", they are kind but dry, surely they don't make their best to make your stay a special one.
The breakfast and in general the food they serve is very bad: poor, very small selection, not up to a resort, in the last half an hour there are very few things left and dry, the staff closes the breakfast area at 10:30 sharp, even closing you inside of you're there!
And last but not least, you have to pay extra for getting a decent coffee or cappuccino!!
Overall an average place to stay if you want to explore the island, but definitely not a resort: absolutely not recommended if you are looking for a place where you can enjoy also the facility where you are staying, without moving.
