The staff was amazing! They were very warm and inviting. It felt like visiting friends. I totally recommend this place 100%. You should definitely stay here when you are visiting the Cape Town area. Also the views are amazing.

The welcoming and friendly atmosphere the view super room very comfortable and very nice hot shower really tasty breakfast I have stayed a couple of times and hope to stay again

The Boat House is a lovely small hotel with wonderful hosts - Walter and Amanda who were very helpful and had lots of knowledge about the area and South Africa in general. We couldn’t fault their hospitality and that of the staff.
The downside to this hotel is that the owners have decided to build another property slap bang next door so it was a building site from 8am to 6pm and therefore impossible to have any peace and quiet on our balcony. At no point did we have any prior knowledge of this building work taking place - such a shame as it’s likely to continue for quite some time.
