lovely hotel with views and balcony , good air con and fridge.
I forgot my key card in my room which was my fault, but it was still scary how there was no one there at night and no one answered phone. eventually I got led by a fellow guest and her boyfriend to the restaurant next door and someone let me in. I just think there should be a more formal system for if that happens. It was only 10 pm and I don't drink or anything so I handled it fine, but I wonder how for example a drunk person on holiday later at night would get into the hotel and into their room. I am very organized and I still forgot my key; it happens. I Don't see how they would have!

Very close to the beach, good value for breakfast, great staff, beautiful paintings décoration inside.
We heard a bit loud when people were talking on the street at midnight even though the windows were closed

I liked that the hotel has an artsy bent and is the old town. It's one of the few hotels that have an elevator. Room had a nice view on the small balcony of the castle/bay. The front desk staff were helpful.
It's a little funky. Although it has an elevator, there are still steps to negotiate in the lobby and (weirdly) in the hallways & room. The room & bathroom were small. The bed and pillows were not comfortable (there was no blanket or coverlet, just a sheet and a throw. But the worst was the noise -- there are a row of restaurants/bars just below and it is very noisy till about 2am. And the walls are paper thin, so I heard everything going on in the next room. For all those reasons, I would not recommend it.
