We chose this because it was right next to the start of the Alpine route, and it turned out to be a great choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the dinner was amazing. The breakfast was very good too! The Japanese lounge wear and onsen were unexpected bonuses, and the room was very comfortable. All in all we spent a great night here
