The breakfast was quite standard and limited but you could always manage to eat toast, hard boiled eggs, fruit and yoghurt. Every day was identical but it was pleasant .
Be aware the poolside menu is quite basic.
The staff are lovely, pleasant, helpful and always available.
Very clean accommodation.
The kitchen is small so food choices quite limited. Could do with varying the breakfast choices.
It's between bus stop 2 and 3. As I have some issues with walking we used a taxi to town and back every day. I thought it was closer to bus stop 2. If you are mobile it's not too bad except for the busy road and no footpath.

We had a really lovely stay at Elsa this week! Everything was brilliant - the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was only a short 10-15 min walk into town and a 5 min walk from the bus stop to take you to all the beaches, and the bar/pool area was really pretty and had everything we needed. It was nice to be located a little bit away from the centre because it was quite loud in the town, but really peaceful back at the hotel.
There are negative reviews about the breakfast but honestly, we can’t understand them at all. The breakfast was great! There was cheeses, meat (bacon, sausages and ham), cereals, Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, nuts/raisins, tomatoes and cucumbers, different types of bread, jams, orange juice, coffee/tea. We’re not sure what more people are looking for - there was plenty to go around, and we certainly felt we had enough variety!
There were also negative reviews about the cleanliness but we disagree with this too. The cleaner came to our room everyday and the general cleanliness throughout the hotel was good. There was also comments about the chicken/hen - it floated about but it was not incessant, you can just shoo it away, it’s not a problem. There was also comments about the smell in some bathrooms - this smell did exist but did it ruin our stay? Absolutely not. It was such a minor issue! It only smelt if the drains hadn’t been used throughout the day, so once you get some water down there, it’s barely an issue at all.
We must say that the staff were absolutely exceptional throughout our stay - everyone from the cleaner to the owners was so friendly and welcoming. Esramia (one of the owners) helped us book a boat trip, hire a scooter, recommended restaurants and helped us with where to find the bus etc. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was so kind to us throughout our trip. Also the Greek salad she made at the bar was delicious!
There are so, so many positives about this hotel! We highly recommend it.

Booked an overnight stay to avoid the early ferry transfer from Alonissos on our day of departure. Walked to the hotel from the ferry port, took around 15 minutes, but a very enjoyable and predominately sheltered walk through the town. Although the hotel was next to the main road, it was like a little oasis when you stepped inside the grounds, with a nice pool and lots of seating areas and with extremely friendly staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, including organising a taxi to the airport for us which was only 15 euros.
Sadly, our sleep was interrupted at 5am in the morning by a very noisy Cockerel, who was still sounding off during breakfast at 9am. Breakfast was basic but OK, but I was very disappointed that the large filter coffee machine behind the bar was not delivering the excellent cappuccino’s from the day before and instead a large urn of black tar like coffee was used for the breakfast service.
