dinner was exquisite, breakfast was plentiful (including a real wasabi root to grate!), i had a room with a view of a forest, with one maple already turned red, the outside bath was nice, i used the hotel as a base to hike to Yonnen goya the next morning

Breakfast was good with Japanese and western buffet choices. Surroundings are

Bit old, and not maintained well. Smells old.
No coffee sachets in room !!!
Even upon asking, staff told that we need to wait till breakfast for coffee or buy cold coffee from vending machine.
