Despite being budget accommodation with a shared bathroom, the room was recently renovated and the bed was very comfortable. The nights were reasonably quiet, and the other guests were considerate.
The shared areas, such as the kitchen and bathroom, had everything needed for preparing food or taking a shower. Everything was kept clean and fresh.
All areas are covered by CCTV, and the rooms are safe.
The accommodation is a 20-minute walk from the train station. There are plenty of shops, good pubs, and takeaways nearby.
The only issue was that the booking system charged me twice, but this was quickly resolved without much fuss.
The only thing that could be added are some USB sockets in the room.

The room was basic which is just what you need it place also liked the fact the toilet was next to us the place is very quiet and clean thoroughly as I seen the cleaners when was staying there too the kitchen is clean too the Owners are very nice too
The only think was there was no milk for the cuppa tea they should have little Milk portions in the room too which would be great l

Location was great, close to some shops, Starbucks & Greggs etc
The room smelt like urine & felt damp. Thin walls could hear everything going on in other rooms. Noisy corridors at all hours. Uncomfortable beds, the mattress was super old and flexible you could feel the springs. I get it’s cheap but maybe spend a little money for the customers comfort
