Proximity to the ocean, facilities, staff, yoga lessons
Sometimes it gets a little hot on the top floor at night, you have to open the door to the room. Not critical

It's a very hippie hostel, run by volunteers, very near to the coast, like 15 min on foot. The zone is quiet , and you can also park around. Near restaurants and surf shops. The hostel was very clean and comfortable.The manager was very kind and cheerful!
The Yoga classes are only included during the week. But since I came just for the weekend, the yoga teacher offered 2 extra yoga class also for the weekend. Very kind of her!

Close to Baleal, quiet by not being on the Main Street.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pans to cook with were really outdated. The gas stove sucks, as often times it seemed impossible to keep lit or to change the burner to a low temperature.
There’s a lot of volunteers. I got a long with them but because there are so many, you get the feeling that there are more volunteers than other guests. Just seemed like if there were less of them, the place would feel more relaxed because then less people are consistently coming through.
Everyday I met someone, it was almost always a new volunteer or one from another house.
All good people, but just too many.
I found a different hostel, for less money that had non stick pans, an extremely comfy bed, a phenomenal breakfast included, unlimited coffee, super relaxing spaces (living room, and back patio) and a very welcoming host for castaway*s like myself in Ferrell.
The comparison is insane!

It‘s located close to the beaches and the people are very friendly.
Everything was very chaotic, the rooms are very full and there is not really space to put your things. Also it smelled a little musty in the room. The neighbourhood is quite lound and you can hear a lot through the walls.
