We enjoyed the traditional Japanese type rooms that were generous in size. The lady of the house was so sweet, able to communicate effectively in English and had room to store our bags before check in. Exceptionally clean facility and comfortable floor futon mattresses. Location was great for early morning Mt Fuji pictures nearby. Shower was great and one of our FAVORITE stays during our entire trip to Japan. This would be my first choice of accommodation if we are able to visit the area again.
The stairs up to the sleeping area and down to the shower area are very steep. They were not a problem for us but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.

Affordable for solo travelers.
The perfume or air accent in the room was too strong that gave me a headache. There are dirty stains on the carpet in front of my room and the pillow case does not look clean.
