A perfect stay in a small B&B with a delightful atmosphere

Everything was perfect. Our host was very kind, friendly and helpful, giving us excellent advice on the local area in fluent English and preparing a delicious breakfast each morning, based on our preferences. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location, just across the road from the small and quaint Taormina-Giardini Station (with trains to Catania, Syracuse etc. in one direction, and Messina in the other) was very convenient. The bus up the hill to Taormina (a ride of ten minutes or so) also leaves from just outside the B&B. All in all, highly recommended!

The only slight downside (nothing to do with the B&B) is that part of the walk down the coast road to Giardini Naxos lacks a proper pavement to walk on. The walk is, however, well worth it for the sea view and the wide selection of restaurants it leads to. (There is, of course, the option of taking the bus from outside the B&B.)

Amazing host, excellent breakfast, comfortable room and easy bus access to Taormina.

Lya, the host is incredibly nice, she genuinely made me feel like family. She made a delicious breakfast and asked each guest what they would like for breakfast. The view is nice and the room was small but comfortable. Parking was very close and quite easy. There is a bus stop immediately outside that will take you up to the historic center of Taormina which was great.

It's definitely not a very walkable location. While the promenade is close, you have to walk at least 15 minutes along roads that do not have a side walk of any kind, it can be kind of scary.

Exceptional

Lya is the best host. We felt like we were staying with family. Rooms are clean, location is the best cannot fault this B&B. We definitely stay again and therefore look forward to seeing Lya again.

Loved it!

The owner, Lya, was so very helpful and accommodating. Such a pleasant person who communicated well and helped in our navigation of a new place. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast she prepared by herself was as beautiful as Taormina. Just a great B&B, staff and experience !

Shower was a bit tight.

no balcony of terrace to sit outside. The place doesn’t have much “Curb appeal”…..but nice inside.

Excellent place to stay for a visit to Taormina and Giardini-Naxos

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Agon with 8 people. We had 2 family rooms (3 people each) and a double room (2 persons). The rooms we large, recently renewed, very clean and very well airconditioned. The location was great as it was only 5 minutes walk to the beach and the Puerto Rico beach club. The train station is just across the road. A bakery and supermarket was at 500m walk. We took the Interbus to go to Taormina and Giardini Naxos, all close by. The host Lya was wonderful!

The double room had breakfast included but not the family rooms because they had a kitchen, table and chairs in the room. A small place to sit outside in the shade would have been nice.

Very nice apartments in Giardino Naxos

B&B in front of the sea, very easy access to a free beach. They provide sun umbrellas for the guests. Easy access to Taormina center via bus (takes about 20 min). Walking distance to restaurants in Giardino Naxos. Super kind host. Easy to park our car. Very good apartment size.

Wifi was sometimes slow, but working.

Perfect location and amazing value for money

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at B&B Agon, it was the perfect location as you have the train station just across the road and the bus stops. We took the train into Siracusa and was also taking the bus up to Taormina and Isola Bella. The prices of the transport was very cheap and easy to access. The room was very clean and Lya was such a lovely caring host. If you want value for money and excellent location then I highly recommend booking here! Thanks so much Lya for a wonderful stay, hope to see you again soon.

Fabulous vacation

At Agon we felt like home. Extrordinary host, clean studio, qualitative linen, pilows, products, vesel. Lya was always available for any question. The beacheas are amazing- a bit wild one of them, with volcano rocks nearby. The closest market is 5-7 minutes walk, the railway station is very close and so the bus stop but absolutely no disturbing noise. Taormina is amazing, 10 min by bus-1 euro/pers. This is a place NOT to be missed in life!!

Lia was very understanding and kind, plus she gave us excellent suggestions about places. The room was clean and has literally everything you could need. It is basically in front of bus/train station, very easy to reach, near to different beaches. It will be my first choice if i go again to Taormina.

The apartment was really clean and comfy. It has a good location, you have the bus and train station just in front of the building. In 10 min, with 1 euro, you can get in Taormina by bus (just pay attention and take a picture of the schedule). Also, you can easily walk to the small village around and do some shopping. Btw...the food in the villages/cities nearby is far less expensive than in Taormina. There is also a bar at the train station where you can grab some snacks, sandwiches and arancini. Also, Lya was really helpful and prompt. She provided us with a map and gave advice about what to visit. Grazie, Lya!

As a solo traveler, I felt very safe staying there. Would recommend anyone visiting to Taormina to stay at Agon.

Very close to the train station and the bus stop, making it a lot easy to go around. A reasonable walking distance to the centre (especially if you like walking). Very pleasant accommodation. Above all, Lya, the owner is very kind and hospitable. She would give you all recommendations where to eat and where to visit. All the restaurants recommended are very nice.

Worked very well for my 2 day stay.

Very nice and clean B&B with very friendly host! Perfect place to visit beautiful town Taormina and Castelmola. You can have a typical sicilian breakfast or a mixed one. Hosts can also give you very good tipps for various activities in sicily! Chantal & Kevin :-)

The host Lya us exceptionally nice and taking care of you! I felt like at home :)

The house is perfectly cleaned. Lya is paying attention of all small details and delicate attentions, with a wide choice concerning the breakfast..! It is very easy to reach all the points you need by the main transportations for : - the center of Taormina (1€ the bus ticket) - Catania airport directly (6.50€) - other bus tours (did not try, tough) Also the fact that it is at 50m from the train station let you the choice of many other destinations of the region. Nice place close to Taormina

Very close to Taormina and an ideal place to explore the area. The host Lya was very friendly and tried to make our stay a success, which she did. Breakfast was to our specification and what we liked.

Nothing really, if you like stairs. We stayed in the first floor rooms and you have to be able to navigate the stairs with your luggage. The stations opposite was audible, but not a problem.

Nice, clean and comfy B&B in Giardini Naxos, directly at the station. Short walk to restaurants, markets and the beaches, but to get to Taormina you best have a car or take a bus or taxi, because walking uphill for about 2km can become a little exhausting when it's hot. The host was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations about things to do.

The host was way too paranoid about COVID19, a lot more than anywhere we had stayed before in Italy. We were the only guests during our stay, yet we were not allowed to touch anything (!) in the common area except the fridge. Breakfast was also not served on the table but in the room, all wrapped in plastic, so we gave it a miss after the first day.

The property is opposite Taormina railway station, with a reasonably regular bus service up into the town of Taormina itself, it would be impractical to try to walk up the hill to Taormina town centre as the roads are very steep, windy and narrow, and traffic will not be expecting to see pedestrians. There is a selection of eating options along the road, about ten minutes walk away, in Naxos Giardini.
