Chrisopetro Rooms offers good value for money, featuring a beautiful view over the water and a nice area on the rocks below with comfortable deckchairs and plenty of shade where you can relax and swim, though getting into the water may be a little tricky for some. The rooms are simple but clean, the air conditioning keeps everything cool, and parking is easy.
The location between Kampos and Ormos is great, as you can easily walk 20 minutes along the main road into either town for dinner. Additionally, the restaurant upstairs is very chic, with delicious food and friendly staff.
The rooms are basic and some details could be improved - for example, there's a kettle but no cups, the towels are very hard but for the price is no big deal.
The main drawback is communication - there is no reception desk, very little is explained at check-in and the phone contact speaks limited English and emails go unanswered.
While I don't expect five-star service at this price point, it is almost impossible to get basic information like checkout times or cleaning schedules.
This feels a bit incongruous with the nice restaurant upstairs. When the restaurant is open (not in the morning and not every day for lunch), you can ask the staff but otherwise you're totally on your own.
To keep staffing costs low, management could easily resolve this by providing a QR code with key information and FAQs and a properly monitored phone number or email, so guests aren't left entirely on their own when the restaurant is closed.
