it was such a refreshing experience.
If you’re looking for a true Maldivian feel rather than ultra-luxury, this is exactly the kind of island you’ll fall in love with. Felidhoo Island has a very local, authentic vibe — simple, peaceful, and beautifully untouched. It’s a completely barefoot island, small in size, which makes it feel intimate and relaxed from the moment you arrive. Vaali is located right next to the beach, in a peaceful corner of the island. There were not many tourists on the island, so you feel exactly like a local living in the island. Staff are great show us new things as well us just being great to chat to. They clean the room daily basis and make sure everything is fine.

Tivemos a sorte de ser época baixa e não estar quase turistas nenhuns. Felidhoo é um paraíso de águas cristalinas. O Senju, o funcionário, foi absolutamente fabuloso garantindo que tudo corria na perfeição. Fizemos as refeições com o Puran e a comida foi sempre óptima. Mas o Senju foi o melhor apoio nestes óptimos dias de absolutamente relax.

Ho soggiornato con il mio ragazzo per una settimana e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo adorato la piccola isola di Felidhoo e abbiamo apprezzato la sua semplicità. Essendo bassa stagione siamo stati gli unici ospiti della guest house per la maggior parte della settimana e siamo stati coccolati da tutto lo staff. Della camera abbiamo apprezzato in particolare il bagno maldiviano. La cucina è semplice, abbastanza varia e il pesce servito è sempre freschissimo, lo chef è stato molto bravo. La bikini beach è a pochi passi, ma consiglia di munirsi di un costume coprente e fare snorkeling dalla spiaggia non-bikini perché il reef è più semplice da raggiungere. Un ringraziamento particolare al nostro dive master che ci ha seguito e guidato in 10 immersioni, l’attrezzatura da sub è nuova e curata e il dive master è molto attento e preparato. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile, in particolare grazie a Sanjok che ci ha accolto e coccolato dall’inizio alla fine del soggiorno.
Eravamo gli unici turisti sull’isola, essendo bassa stagione, e quindi la maggior parte dei locali erano chiusi. Sicuramente in periodi di alta stagione l’isola è più popolata da turisti. Ideale per chi cerca un po di pace e relax.

It was comfortable and safe
The bikini beach had eroded and there was very little to do on Felidhoo. I would suggest staying on nearby Thinadhoo instead as its much more set up for tourism with a bigger beach and cafes and restaurants etc.
