Milka was really sweet :) We ran into a car accident on the way to her guesthouse and had to arrive after our agreed time. Though there was a language barrier, Milka was really understanding, waited for us, and still welcomed us with unbelievable hospitality! We wish we had more time in her guesthouse, it was a quaint and cozy room

Spotlessly clean apartment, not a modern one, but perfectly comfortable. Beautiful surroundings, 10 min to Plitvice Lakes entry by car. Shops in the village down the road, cca 3km.

The room is very clean and spacious with everything you need (towels, kettle, plates and cutlery and even schnaps!). Milka is very nice (she came to get us at Rakovica's bus station) although it is hard to communicate (no english and only a little german). Overall a great stay :)

The supermarket at 200m promised on the announce doesn't exist 😬. The first one is 3km away.

Madam Milka.. The best location, relaxed stay. We loved everything with the stay. The host was so sweet. She made us coffee, had vodak and fresh cherries fo us to relax. One of the best stays we ever stayed in. The way the host helped us to tuck in and have all the required facilities. Thank you and would love to visit the place again. Note: It is more relaxing if you have a vehicle.

Best stay ever!! Milka is an adorable woman and very friendly. The room was properly, the bed was comfortable, nice fridge inside de room and all the setup to take a good breakfast in the morning 🌅

Location, price, friendly host. Room was clean. Good value for the money.

The heating went off during the night, so it was a bit chilly.

Nice surroundings, friendly owner, privacy. Close proximity to Plitvice lakes. The owner makes excellent slivovica (plum vodka).

Inappropriate heating... There is a stove in the middle of the house - it's nice and warm near it, but quite chilly at the edges of the house, and as soon as it runs out of fuel, the whole building turns into a fridge. Also, the owner doesn't speak English, so it was a bit challenging to communicate.

Very kind host;) Great location, you can reach entrance 1 to Plitvice NP in 10 minutes by car. The surroundings are great, really nice view on hills covered by colorful trees in autumn. Room was pretty large and clean. We would stay there again:)

Cozy quiet place to sleep for travel to Plitvice Lakes with the necessary conditions.

Milka's Guesthouse was the perfect place to call home during our time visiting Plitvice National Park. It started with a warm greeting from Milka, who showed us our room (including the local drinks and snacks she had for us) and then had us in for coffee. Our room was so comfortable and clean, comfortable bedding and a warm shower. In the morning she again prepared coffee for us before we headed out. It was just a ten minute drive to entrance 2 of the park, and also just less than a 5 minute drive to markets and restaurants. It also includes free parking and wifi, with a view of a canyon right down the road and beautiful meadows, forests, and mountains right out front. I 100% recommend staying with Milka during your time in this area!

That is a very lovely place, so quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It's up the hill, and the view is breathtaking. If you want to visit Plitvice Lakes and have bought your ticket in advance, you can walk from Guesthouse to Entrance 3 (or Big Waterfall), and exit from there too. And the lady of the Gueshouse is a lovely, living and very helpful woman. She speaks some german, so we understood each other well. Thank you for your kindness!

The hostess is super nice, probably the best I've had during my trip, even though conversations in English were hard (we managed to understand each other without a problem anyway). As a little extra I got a hot coffee in the morning to start the day before our hike at the plitvice lakes. I could recommend to stay at Milka's place!

Close to Plitvice Lakes, with a nice view to the valley, nice choice if You want to have a sleep before/after the Plitvice tour. The Owner Lady is very kind and helpful, although She is not speaking english or hungarian we could communicate well :)
