Beautiful and picturesque location and very short walking distance to the beach. Most of the staff were pleasant with the exception of a few in the dining room and at reception. Some of the dining staff had communication issues in both French and English. The hotel boutique was reasonably stocked with great souvenir items and the ladies in attendance were both pleasant and charming. Our room was kept clean and fresh beach towels were provided each day. We were indeed pleased to be provided with a picnic box filled with sandwiches, boiled eggs, fruits, juices and bottle of water on the morning of our departure as it was too early to have breakfast.
Staff at reception with the exception of a few, we found to be bothered and unwelcoming. Parking should be reserved for guests of the hotel and quite often we were competing with locals for parking. Far too much traffic in front of the hotel; road is narrow and you find yourself sharing it with the locals. CATS roamed the dining room and we found it to be most unpleasant. One particular morning 2 cats decided to have a fight and next a dog sneaked in the hotel ground and so WORLD WAR 3 eventuated in the dining room, quite unpleasant for those having breakfast. Suggest that hanging hooks are installed in both toilets and bathroom and provision of two folding chairs would be handy to have in the bedroom area due to space issue. We were entitled to two bottles of water each day and quite often these were not found in our room and we had to ring reception. Air condition in our room was noisy and malfunctioning; it was set at 20 degrees but far from cooling such a small room area; in our opinion, a necessity in Mauritius especially during summer.

Nice surf / beach vibe resort opposite the beach. Very relaxed, good food and good variety. Live music every night was great though the quality of the bands varied. Great value overall, I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Rooftop bar wasn't always adequately stocked. Stay away from whiskey.

Clean, comfortable and staff friendly
Lovely pool, gardens etc
Although staff are friendly, the service in the restaurant and bar was very poor
If you managed to get a drink it was often wrong and took a very long time to come
Lots of staff on duty but seemed very unorganised
Tables left uncleared, not reseat etc despite it being very quiet most of the time
Often had to help ourselves to set the table
Basics like water on the table not provided and when asked for either didn’t arrive or came in dirty bottles with settlement in the bottom
Weekends there are groups of people playing very loud music on the beech
The beech is a few feet from the hotel
One morning it started at 4am and carried on for hrs
The hotel staff apologised but perhaps a call to the police might of helped as it appears to be an ongoing problem
