Nice for an active holiday

- Hotel offers a lot of activities - You can get to the nature (hiking, other tours, beaches) very easily - The food was great, a lot of different dishes. Def recommend taking breakfast and dinner (there are no other restaurants around and the buffee has different meals every evening) - Every evening there was live music until 21:00 so super nice and also not disturbing the sleeptime

- Local beach is not really a beach to enjoy. Lots of local people come to enjoy themselves over the weekend and the water is not as clear as in the other beaches. However, super nice beach Flic en Flac is around the corner. - You have to have a car or be aware that you need to use a taxi service if you want to see around. Theres nothing in the walking distance. However taxis are waiting right in front of the hotel, so shouldnt be a problem. Just make sure to have some cash with you.

Sympathique pour quelques jours

Points forts : - La nourriture : j’ai beaucoup aimé les buffets et les boissons, le all inclusive vaut vraiment le coup, c’est diversifié et bon - La piscine rooftop - La localisation à Tamarin - Les activités proposées par l’hôtel - Le personnel réactif et a l’écoute - Le ménage était bien fait quotidiennement

Points faibles : - La musique sur la plage publique en face le week-end : malgré les efforts de l’hôtel, si vous recherchez du calme le week-end, on entend vraiment beaucoup la musique extérieure. Privilégiez la semaine

Great atmosphere

Staff were friendly and over all atmosphere was upbeat and very welcoming.

The food at the restaurant and buffet lacked variety and one of the dinners we had was very unpleasant we also found a language barrier between us and the waiter however when he finally understood the service was great.

Friendly place to stay with great people and service.

Spa was great. Hotel staff are very hospitable and responsive to every request for assistance. Very friendly atmosphere.

Slim breakfast spread. Too many sweet treats and not enough healthy, simple options e.g. oatmeal. Noisy rooms. Over the weekend, noise from beach bar is almost unbearable.

Schöne Anlage, vielfältiges Frühstück, 2 Pools & genug Raum für Entspannung!

Ich war auf meiner Rundreise in diesem Hotel für 2 Nächte. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut und vielfältig! Zimmer + Balkon sehr schön! Mir hat generell der Stil des Hotels sehr gut gefallen. Pool und Anlage sehr schön - vor allem auch Sonnenuntergang schauen am Rooftop Pool oder am Strand direkt vor der Haustüre. Das Hotel bietet auch Programm und Spa, welches ich aber nicht genutzt habe.

Aufgrund des Regens ist im Zimmer Wasser von der Wand geronnen, sodass Wasserlacken am Boden waren.

La proximité immédiate de l’hôtel : se promener à pied n’est absolument pas agréable

Hôtel sympathique à taille humaine avec une bonne situation géographique.

La situation géographique, la chambre agréable mais présence intempestive d insectes. Petit-déjeuner appréciable.

Buffet repas du soir pourrait être amélioré.

Good

It's a good place as a starting point to explore south-west of the island. They have a nice system of credits based on duration of your stay, so you can use that credit to have a reduction in price of the activities they organize. For example, we used it for a catamaran day trip with dolphin watching and swimming (highly recommended). Dinners were delicious and diverse.

There was smell of humidity in our room and they told us it was because we didn't use the air conditioner. There was miscommunication between the staff and taxi drivers. For example, they presented like they organized us a South tour. Next morning we were ready to start but no driver appeared. They organized a random driver last minute and he had no idea where he needs to bring us. Litterally, we were showing him the list of the spots hotel staff proposed and he eliminated some.of the spots because they were not aoong the way.

the room was nice, loved the massage at the spa, highly recommend to set up the treatment with Natasha. Very nice staff at the Crazy Fish restaurant and bar ( Big thanks to Kesavan). Really good live music at the bar and cool weekend parties! also the hotel provides you a certain credit for the tours, had an amazing experience of hiking trip with super professional guides with a really low price.

the beach is not really good, so you have to drive about 7-30 minutes to reach the good ones. Didn’t like the quality of the food at the breakfast and lunch buffets. Would be nice to have a better range and quality of fruits. Also there were no fresh juice at the breakfast. The alarm system started to work for two days in a row at 6 am and woke me up.

Loved the workout at the pool, the resort is lively, lots of palm trees, beautiful design. Room was a bit on the small side, struggled to fit luggage there. Lover the View rooftop pool! Rooms are clean. Cute kittens on premises 😍

VERY noisy as there are late parties till 2-3am on the beach. Toilet didn’t work properly but got it fixed after telling staff about the issue. Shower had flow issues and it was hard to wash hair if there is not enough strong flow.. Party at the premises on weekends gathers strange crowd- some very drunk men grabbing women. Had a bad incident there. Everyone smokes in restaurant area-it’s horrible. Staff is super lazy, for example breakfast area was out of fruit and one staff member just stood there and don’t even bother filling up. No plant based milk, had to ask every day. Not enough tea water, had to ask all the time. Horrible coffe 🥹 Breakfast is very boring and plain, not even tomatoes were served.. hardly any fruit or vegetables.. food is not worth the money, better off going to a cafe near by. Cocktails were terrible, we got served rum with water, that was not drinkable- luckily got a refund. Food menu for alacarte etc is poor and of very low quality, worst food I had during my 2 week holiday in Mauritius. Reception staff never say hello if you walk by… The staff was biggest disappointment in the venue.

A nice cheaper alternative to the big resorts but you get what you pay for

The pool was very beautiful and when not too busy the whole area very comfortable. The food was quite nice and the location opposite the beach was great. The garden grounds were gorgeous at the back of the property.

There were so many staff is such a relatively small property and had they all been friendly and warm this would have been lovely but the vast majority were surprisingly aloof and some barely smiled. Some often seemed vexed that we were even asking them something perfectly normal at the reception. Staff attitude was the main let-down unfortunately even for a bilingual French and English speaker like me. So language wasn’t an issue. The chef was incredibly friendly and helpful though but he wasn’t the face you saw around the property! The music was a surprise to us that in the most expensive Privilege suites you could hear throbbing bass music from 5pm until 2am on weekends, so we asked to move further away and had to take a smaller, less expensive room which was blissfully quiet. Bizarre. The All-inclusive had plenty of caveats that made us feel quite on edge throughout. Constantly signing for meals and not all drinks were included, which isn’t incredibly comfortable during a stay, where you want to switch off and avoid having to pay even more than the high fees already for the stay.

Exceptional

The staff was really helpful and welcoming. They made all the effort to make our honeymoon special, preparing and arrange the room for the first night with prosecco and flowers. Credit to spend on the many activities available. Great rooftop infinity pool, confy room, tastefully decorated. They made our honeymoon literally unforgettable.

Cool hotel next to a fantastic beach

Cool, big and busy hotel in an amazing location. Next to the beach with amazing sunsets and best mountain backdrop on the island. Similar to an upmarket backpacker's hotel in Asia. Very modern. Lots of nice little details. Great bar and live music.

Seemed a bit basic for the price. Stayed in a luxury hotel the week before for not much more. Some of the staff were a bit surly. Water at beach muddy from the river.

Great Location, you can easily plan all the tours from the Hotel. Crazy fish is a good Restaurant, The Spa is excellent, Natasha is the best. Over all great value.

The service is a bit too slow in every department but hey you're in Mauritius i guess. Enjoy

The beach and transat, food is correct, very good welcoming. I had leave my bedroom late than the good hours and I have nothing to paid the extra hours, I have appreciate :) Good services.

Night activity karaoke, noisy close to the bedroom.
