Peaceful location, only the annex next door as neighbours, good size garden and a lovely big living room. Just about everything you’d need to cook with in the kitchen, and plenty board games for a quiet night in. Very close to Dalby Forest and only half an hour or so drive to Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay.
No shops or pubs in walking distance, but we knew that before we booked so not really a grumble! Garden isn’t totally fenced in so don’t leave your dog outside on its own!

The location of Bickley School House is great, especially if you like peace and quiet. The cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay. There's loads of space and it's great that you can take your dog along. There are lots of great places to visit in the area. We loved staying in the middle of the forest and it's fantastic for walking and cycling. Scarborough is close by and Whitby, Sandsend, Cayton Bay and Robin Hood's Bay are all within easy reach. Would love to return!
