The lodge is located above the town of Opuwo. To get there, you drive through a residential area until you reach the gate and the fenced property. Nice view of the sunset from the dining area near the pool. Good food (dinner and breakfast). Parking close to the room.
Very basic room, below my expectations. Not many options to choose from in this area.

Great location and very nice place to stay. Loved the breakfast! Our room was amazing, great shower, comfortable bed. We ate dinner there and we were impressed with the food and wine.

We stayed a few days and would say it is the best resort in Opuwo. The views are exceptional. The rooms are spacious. The grounds are well tended.
The rooms and facilities would benefit from better maintenance. some of the taps on showers came off in our hand! The hot water taps are missing in the ladies toilet in reception area possibly intentional but gives bad impression. We stayed 9 nights and not one item on the buffet breakfast changed. I think a bit of variety would have helped. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and supplies were provided daily but they were inadequate again providing no choice. The access road to the lodge is still a challenge!!!
