Lovely split-level apartment in the woods in Auvergne

The property is well kept and has good quality fittings. It is situated behind a pub and a beer brewery that belongs to the same owner. Unfortunately we only spent one night but are considering revisiting the area with more time and would gladly stay at the Gîte de l'Ours. We didn't have the opportunity to taste the food but judging from their beer, it must be tasty and good. We spent a Thursday night in July and it was not noisy. The property is behind the pub and it was surprisingly quiet.

There is nothing to not like. By way of suggestion, as the television is in a separate very small room, where the second (sofa)bed is too, some logistics is needed for the use of that room. We were only two and didn't even turn on the TV so it was no problem at all.

Superb

The gîte is located in the heart of volcano country, 10 minutes away from Vulcania. It's clean, comfortable and attractively decorated, with a helpful, friendly owner who will give you advice on things to do in the area.

The accommodation is lovely. If the restaurant beneath the gîte was still operational it would have been the icing on the cake!
