This is the best view on Syros without a doubt, beautiful location full of historic buildings in Ano Syros. Stefanos and his wife were fantastic hosts and very helpful throughout our stay. The pool was really nice and a lovely relaxing area outside the rooms to have a glass of wine and food in the evening. We loved this place it was so nice and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the port. I would highly recommend
I would have preferred a daily change of sheets and towels considering the room was quite warm as the aircon wasn't the best. This did not take away away from the stay

This is a superb place to stay in Syros. The hosts were charming and provided everything we needed and more. On our arrival, they gave us a warm welcome. They had supplied the room with provisions and a bottle of wine. And each day, they topped us up with water bottles for the fridge and pods for the coffee machine plus other odds and ends.
They room was spacious, stylishly decorated, and kept immaculately clean. Other reviews on this site do not seem to convey just how spectacular the location is. The area outside has a small pool -- there are only two other rooms so you'll likely to often have this to yourself -- that boasts incredible views over Ano Syros, the catholic cathedral, a windmill, and the port (Ermoupolis). You've pretty much got views on all sides. I have travelled a lot in Greece but this was easily the most impressive view I've ever had from a room.
It didn't bother us, but be aware this accommodation is way way up in Ano Syros. It's a long, incredibly steep walk down to the port. Although we enjoyed doing this, we were never quite energetic enough to attempt the climb back up. And while there are tavernas and bars in Ano Syros, you'll need to be going down to Emoupolis if you want to buy food for your room. Luckily, in summer, there's a regular free bus that goes right from the room to the port. And taxis prices are reasonable. But this is not the right place to stay if you don't fancy a bit of walking!
