Whether you spend your day on the beach or relaxing by the pool, Atelie Del Mar is a great choice fo

The hotel is a delight to stay at with great rooms, one of the largest pools in town, and wonderful and friendly hosts. The hotel is also located across the street from the beach and is a short walk from the main street where restaurants, stores, and ATMs are located. On this most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised as the rooms have been refreshed from top to bottom with new paint, floors, bathroom fixtures and more! Another welcome change is that agua pura is now complementary with staff bringing an ice cold refillable glass bottle to your room at check-in. And there's an included breakfast for hotel guests.

This is a family-run hotel and they are all lovely....really friendly and helpful. After three days, I felt like one of the family! The hotel is only a five minute walk from the centre and the swimming pool is the best in town. The food was tasty and the portions are generous. It was a lovely, relaxing stay.

I know it was Semana Santa, but I still thought the room was a bit pricey. They are in the process of updating the rooms....the renovated rooms are more like what you'd expect for your money. Having said that, I spent all my time lounging by the pool and I slept like a log!

beautiful place with great staff, huge pool and lush garden!! absolute recommendation!!

Absolutely wonderful place! Huge pool surrounded by a beautiful and lush garden with an occasional hummingbird! to the beach its just across the street. the place is run by a lady and her mother who are just the nicest people you can think of. my room was a bit older, but there is a lot of renovation going on (although not noisy!) and I've seen some of the new rooms and they are very stylish! would definitely go again!

if anything maybe the restaurant was a bit overpriced but thats all there is to complain about :)

The pool was amazing! So warm and big … fun times! Comfortable beds and great A/C. Very friendly staff, family owned and operated.

I think the menu needs improvement - I think that they should have coffee set out in the morning so you can get your own and add what you like. Also, some laminated pool menus with simple stuff like nachos, hot dogs, and drinks and a dedicated server that goes around and takes orders and delivers… lastly, stacks of pool towels. Overall great stay!

I love the garden around the pool. it s a quiet place to relax . it is right across the street from the beach. owner was very nice.

I would book it again.

Loved the pool. Nice size and lots of sunshine. Surrounded by a beautiful garden. The owner was attentive and checked to see how we were a couple of times during the weekend. The whole family was GLAD it had A/C.

Really no complaints. It was not an expensive hotel the rooms are what I expected.

Breakfast was good and room was clean, the bathroom in the room also has a great shower.

There was a lot intimidating people not in the hotel but on the surroundings of the property. Many guys with guns with kinda narco vibes.

An enchanted place

A nice hotel with a lovely garden and a great swimming pool. The rooms are confortable and the restaurant serves delicious food. The staff is very helpful, especially for booking visits and activities. The location is close to everything on foot. I would definitely come back

too many mosquitoes, but who can control them?, we have to live with it, but with some repellent we will do ok.

The pool is great and the staff! They are so nice and helpful. Also the area around the pool is like an oasis.

The water pressure in the shower isn’t much but it was okay for the two nights we were there.

The location is very nice. Staff is so helpful. It's clean.

Everything is fine. They should hire a company to sprey against mosquitos. It is torture to sit outside although you have mosquito repeller spray all over your body and incence burning under the table. There must be more fans in the restaurant area to give coolness a little bit.

Kind owner but not a good value

The woman who runs the place is very kind. She chats with many of the guests and projects a welcoming, helpful energy. And there are cats there are well. Animals are always a plus. The gardens/plants on the grounds there are also beautiful and it is close to the beach. No complaints about the location!

There is a lovely pool, but the weekend we were there it was constantly full of families with children. There was hardly room for us to squeeze in. And we appreciated that breakfast was included, but I can't say we were fans. The room, sad to say, was not worth the price. We're not picking about rooms! We just thought it should be cheaper. Finally, they made us pay in cash, which meant we had to drive to another town (ATM was broken in Monterrico), take out cash, drive back, pay, and then drive back again through the ATM town on our way home. It was an unfortunate and unexpected inconvenience.

Amazing relaxing beach hotel.

Was a peaceful and relaxing hotel literally across the street from the beach. While the pool and facilities are amazing, the staff is top notch and what made us extend our stay.

I absolutely loved everything here. I cannot think of an improvement.
