Charming host

Excellent and very kindly host, charming place overall and a great location in town.

The shower had really bad pressure and overall the place felt a bit downtrodden

Disappointing

The breakfast was included and it was very good. The staff were friendly.

When we arrived, we waited in an empty Reception for 20 minutes until we went in the adjoining bar to enquire as to who can check us in, and the owner came in and handed us our key. When we got to our room, the bathroom light did not work. Our TV did not work. When we informed staff, we were handed a lightbulb and batteries for the TV remote. We were expected to change the bulb ourselves, which we attempted to do. However the bathroom ceiling was high meaning we had to stand on an old rickety chair to reach it. The light fixture was glass and attached tightly, we did not want to break it trying to remove it, so we left it. The lightbulb we were given was for a bedside lamp and would not have fit anyway. The batteries for the remote were old batteries, but it did not matter as the TV had no power and would not power on. There was no wifi in the building except for in the bar, or in the breakfast room. So in our room we had no TV, or wifi for our devices. All the room had was a bed, a toilet, and a shower so not much to do to unwind for the evening except listen to a preloaded podcast on our phone..

Spent two nights here. Very good value for money Lovely breakfast. We also enjoyed the live music in nearby bars.

We felt relaxed and welcomed.

Friendly welcome and a very nice hotel at a good price!

Wonderful breakfeast and very friendly people. The hotel is a typical irish hotel. It has seen better times but everything is tidy. If you are interested in the latest luxuries it might not be for you. But if you like it a bit frugal and spend your money rather on good food instead of decoration, it is the place to be!

The staff were wonderful and they all showed genuine interest in meeting our needs.

The breakfast was really tasty, there was plenty of different option and evrything was fresh and delicious. The juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was exceptional.

There wasn't anything we weren't happy with. The room was spotless, loads of clean towels, immaculately clean bed linen and all the staff were so so friendly and welcoming, especially Nellie. T

Warm welcome, made to feel at home straight away. Room and facilities were just what we expected/wanted. Had a good nights sleep and Nellie cooked us a great breakfast. If we are in Lidoonvarna again, Ravine Hotel wiil be our first choice to book.
