The hotel is modern with a nice selection of food for the breakfast and 2 big swimming pools. I liked the salty swimming pool which extends to and outdoors pool while the water is still warm.
It is not related to the hotel directly, but the train connections to the hotel's town were tricky. Coming to the hotel by car would have been way easier.

It's a huge hotel with lots of facilities. You don't need to go anywhere else. The breakfast is fantastic and offers salads, quiches, roulades, cakes, pancakes and even lasagne, chicken skewers and meat stew. I had dinner in the a la carte restaurant which was very good. Communal areas are kept clean including outside. I watched staff cleaning flower pots while having breakfast.
Parking is right outside and costs £10 each day.
My room wasn't cleaned well. The bed was unmade, my teacup wasn't washed and tea bags weren't replaced. It's meant to be 5 star so these things should be done properly.
Reception tried to overcharge me (double!), despite having my bill in front of them. I refused to pay the amount they put in to the credit card machine and had to ask to see the check out invoice which turned out to be half what they were asking me to pay.
The door to the ensuite looked very good, but was extremely heavy to open. I propped it open with my suitcase as it was a nuisance.
